CHAPTER 5
Pedagogical
a Competencies of
Teachers
byINTRODUCTION
The essence of quality education lies in the
competencies of teachers. The pedagogical
competence of teachers is one of them. Whether a
teacher is assigned to a public or private school, his
or her pedagogical competencies will make a
difference in the lives of the students and the
community he or she serves. There is no such thing
as the best setting for the competencies of teachers
to take place.PEDAGOGY

a demonstration of one's philosophy, attitude,

that are planned, organized, and implemented
based on objectives that are specific, measurable,
attainable, relevant, and time-bound. However,

for the learners to make their own personal and
independent connections from the classroom to
real-life situations.Article XIV of the 1987 Philippine Constitution

Pedagogical competencies are a teacher's magic
toolbox. They equip us to choose the best
teaching methods, keep students engaged,
assess learning effectively, and build a positive
classroom. These skills ensure our students -
grasp concepts, develop critical thinking, and
ultimately, become lifelong learners themselves. ww. bEND OF
