ABOUT STORY PITARA
STORY PITARA is an English Primary Reader
for students of classes 1 - 5.
The entire purpose is to bring forth the stories
in which children are interested at this age
and also imbibe values like gender sensitization,
love and care for animals,
respect for public property, avoiding wastage of paper,
good touch-bad touch,
conservation of resources
like water and electricity etc.
Children would even be able to relate to
its characters, their mischiefs.
concerns and mannerisms as if they have
etched out from their very own bosom pals.
Also we see the same characters growing up as
the grade level increases,
so it lends a creativity to all stories.
We are sure
children will have great fun reading
while exploring this plethora of tales.

JOURNEY OF STORY PITARA
The journey of STORY PITARA was a roller coaster ride With
lots of experience that is hard to summarise, Now a days
good stories are hard to find these stories emerged with this
thought in mind, We have games and gadgets for children to
feed But not good stories that they actually need, To
supplement the reading skills and to provide fun Making
stories available to all the children,
To search for the stories that shape children’s vision forever
filled with values, culture, adventure and fun together, Cups
of teas and heap of drafts engrossed in penning down the
thoughts, Visualing stories and sketching the frames Building
characters and thinking the names, Weaving the storyline
and breaking the stereotypes Creating the storyboard and
scratching head sometimes, Visualisation, penning down,
illustrations and piloting Sounds quite easy but not an easy
thing, Lots of brainstorming and discussion To peep into the
world of children, For the stories that they can cherish
With human values that don’t perish,
Unlike the traditional fairytales passed down for generations
These stories have creativity and problem solving situations,
All flavours of childhood and their expressions
filled with coloured layered illustrations, Inspiring local
stories, culture and heritage to see with which children can
relate and say ‘it’s me’ Stories that children keep as treasure
that is STORY PITARA for children’s pleasure.
