I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Cognitive: Identify Stereotype
Psychomotor: Explains the different stereotypes
Affective: Appreciate the importance of knowing different stereotypes.

Topic: Identifying Stereotypes
References: English Learner’s, Module for Grade 5
Quarter: Second Quarter
Materials: Computerized Visual Aids, paper, Worksheets, Rubric, Flashcards,
Tarpaper, laptop, TV

Review:
Question: What was our topic yesterday?
Motivation:
The teacher will show a picture and let students identify the picture is for
boys or girls.
Presentation
Arrange the jumbled letter.

A mistaken idea or belief many people have about a thing or group that is based
upon how they look on outside, which may be untrue or only partly true.
Activity
The students will go to the group that they are already assigned to.
The teacher will give each group an activity sheet.
Each group will write the names of group members on a ¼ sheet of paper.
Each group will be given five minutes to do the task.
The teacher will introduce the rubric in scoring their activity.
Each group will select a representative to discuss their output.

cultural, socio-economic, and religious background.

Analysis
The teacher will ask the students the following questions:

2. Did you understand well the idea being formed with in your group?
3. What did you do to come up with your correct answers?

Abstraction
The teacher will prepare sentences which consist of the different meaning of the
four stereotypes
The teacher will randomly select students to paste the sentences to where their
sentences being picked belong
The students will read synchronously what is pasted on the board.
