NOTE:
��� Division may ensure that Blocks to be deferred to the subsequent days if more than 4
freight trains are regulated
��� It is advised that the blocks required for MFI- tamping machines can be permitted for two
hours and these works can be done under divisional purview
Railway Board has advised that the division shall ensure site preparedness and adequate resources in terms of materials &
manpower so that there is no bursting of block and timeline. Board's instructions with regard to availability of officers at the site may be
ensured. Division should take all necessary steps & precautions to ensure safe running of trains during execution of the work with
minimum detention to trains. The following may please be ensured:
��� Blocks to be given in a corridor in the same section so that trains are not detained in subsequent blocks..
��� Active steps to be taken to maintain TSR within the permitted limit.
��� All precautions to be taken to avoid block burst and punctuality loss to trains.
��� In case of change in pattern of train services, blocks shall be rescheduled suitably without affecting
punctuality.
Wide publicity to be given through Press, Media, Station Notice Boards and Public Address system regarding late-running/diversion/
cancellation of trains. As per latest guidelines, passengers must be informed well in advance atleast one week before Cancellation/
regulation
