Chawla. Kalpana was youngest of 4 children. She completed
Aeronautical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India.
Later she completed Masters of Science degree in Aerospace
Engineering. Kalpana Chawla was first Indian born female to fly in
the space. She became a inspiring woman for millions of females
in India by becoming first woman to become astronaut engineer.
