SUBJECT DESCRIPTION
This is a practicum research course that introduces the fundamentals of research
and understanding of research-based knowledge and principles of teaching and
learning. It will also provide prospective elementary teachers with an avenue to
conduct applied or action research on significant problems in their own
classrooms/ schools that will provide empirical bases and research-based
knowledge to improve teaching and learning and make curricular as well as
instructional decisions both school-wide and at the classroom level.
