The Debate
Theres always been debates about which is the right religion, especially between
Christianity and Islam. After noticing a lot of arguments between the two religions on
social media, I, as a Muslim, decided to find out the truth on my own looking at both
perspectives. The base of these online arguments has no evidence provided or any
knowledge of history on either end. I researched without having a bias opinion and I tried
to understand the concept of the trinity but realized not only is it not mentioned in the
bible but nor is the concept, nowhere does Jesus say “I am God” but he was referred to as
“The son of God” and these words were not unique to Jesus alone as many people in the
old and new testament were referred to as “the son of God”. When I first started
researching, I thought I was pretty educated knowing only the basics of Islam but that
changed when I read many things which I’ve never encountered before and while being
uneducated about Islam and coming across a lot of Islamophobic posts, I will admit my
faith weakened but after really understand it and delving into it on my own, everything
came to make sense and the people who try to put Islam down, do it by either spreading
incorrect info or misinterpreting it.
Exodus 4:22 Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my firstborn son,
Luke 3:38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
+ Genesis 6:4, Deuteronomy 14:1, Job 2:1, Mathew 5:9, 1 Chronicles 28:6, Psalms 89:26-27,
Deuteronomy 32:19, 2 Samuel 7:14
These are just some examples but there is an uncountable amount - According to the
Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion by Adele Berlin page 698 it states “Son of God,
term occasionally found in Jewish literature, biblical and post-biblical but nowhere
implying physical descent of a human from the Godhead…. When used by Rabbis, the
reference was to Israel or to human beings in general.”
Not only does God claim others to be his Son but also calls other “Gods”
Exodus 7:1 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and
your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

Who Jesus was is one of the main differences between Christianity and Islam, Muslims
view Jesus as a prophet of God and Christians have different opinions on who he is with
many modern Christians claiming him to be a part of the trinity.
Christianity teaches that Jesus is both the Son of God and, in many denominations, God
Himself. Most Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, which holds that God exists
as three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit—
each distinct, yet fully God. Christians believe Jesus came to Earth, died for humanity's
sins, and rose from the dead, offering salvation to those who believe in him. The Bible,
consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the central religious text, and Christianity
has various branches, including Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism.

Frequently Questioned Verses
The previous books sent down by Allah, which were, the Injeel (Gospel, sent to Jesus),
Zabur (Psalms, given to David), Tawrat(Torah, sent down to Moses) and the Quran which
is the only book that got preserved (Received by Prophet Mohammed SAW). The previous
books sent down weren’t preserved because they were sent down for that specific group of
people and specific period. We don’t believe the Torah was sent for all mankind, nor were
any of the other books. Both the torah and Gospel were sent down for the tribe of Israel.
Only the Quran, sent down by Prophet Muhammed PBUH was meant to be for the whole
of mankind and preserved.
“And there is a party among them who twist their tongues while reciting the Book
to make you think that it is part of the Book when in fact it is not. They say: 'It is
from Allah', when in fact it is not from Allah. They falsely fix a lie upon Allah and
do so wittingly.”
Surah (3:78)
“The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change
His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing.”
Surah 6:115
“Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. None can
change His Words, nor can you find any refuge besides Him.”
Surah 18:27
Many Christians use this as a supposed contradiction saying, “if no one can change his
words then what about the previous books sent down.” You must understand, corrupting
the bible is not changing the word of Allah, it is changing a written copy of the word of
Allah. (These verses don’t indicate that the previous books aren’t corrupted) Today we
have 4 anonymous gospels which is not the gospel preached by Jesus
PAGE 4
“Indeed, we gave the Scripture to Moses—so let there be no doubt ˹O Prophet˺ that
you ˹too˺ are receiving revelations—1and We made it a guide for the Children of
Israel.”
Quran 32:23
“He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came
before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.”
Quran 3:3
The scriptures sent down to David, Jesus and Moses do not exist in their original form
anymore. So even if the current bible matches the dead sea scrolls or any pervious bibles
we have today (which they don’t), it doesn’t matter because this wasn’t the original
scripture sent to Jesus, Moses, or David.
Q) Quran 3:28
“Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers—and
whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah—unless it is a precaution
against their tyranny. And Allah warns you about Himself. And to Allah is the final
return.”
During the time the Quran was revealed, Muslims were surrounded by polytheists and
Jews who waged wars against Muslims. This was in reference to the hypocrites
(munafiqun) during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Their aim was to destroy
the Muslims and to bring an end to Islam. At this time, there were relatives and friends of
the Muslims who were on the non-Muslims side. This verse is ordering them not to take
disbelievers as their allies to prevent them from leaking information.
AN EXAMPLE:
During the Battle of the Trench (Ahzab), the Banu Qurayza, a Jewish tribe in Medina,
broke their treaty with the Muslims and sided with the Quraysh and other Arabian tribes
attacking Medina. This betrayal posed a serious threat to the Muslims. Despite being
outnumbered, the Muslims successfully defended Medina by digging a trench around the
city. This event underscores the challenges faced by the early Muslim community and the
importance of trust and loyalty in alliances within Muslim communities, as prioritizing
alliances with non-believers can lead to betrayal and harm, as seen in this historical event
PAGE 5
Q) Verse 9:5
9:4 Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they
have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so
complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the
righteous [who fear Him].
9:5 But when the sacred months expire slay those who associate others with Allah in His
Divinity wherever you find them; seize them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them.
But if they repent and establish the Prayer and pay Zakah, leave them alone. Surely Allah
is All-Forgiving, Ever Merciful.
9:6 And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so
that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is
because they are people who do not know.
Surah 9:5 was revealed during a period of conflict between the early Muslims and
the polytheists of Mecca. After years of persecution, the Muslims signed the Treaty
of Hudaybiyyah with the Quraysh tribe, ensuring peace. However, the polytheists
violated this treaty, leading to the Conquest of Mecca in 630 CE.
The verse was revealed after the conquest, giving polytheists who broke their
agreements four months to either repent and make peace or face military action. It
was specific to those who continued hostility after violating treaties.
PAGE 6
Q) Quran 2:191
2:190 Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do
not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors.
2:191 And kill them wherever you find them and expel them from wherever they have
expelled you, and fitnah [Persecution] is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-
Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is
the recompense of the disbelievers.
2:192 And if they cease, then indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.
Here, it clearly states to only fight in the cause of Allah and those who wage war
against you, and when faced with a battle and they fight you, with good reason and
for the sake of your life, you must kill them, yet again, this cant be taken out of
context.
Q) Quran 65:4
As for your WOMEN who despaired/gave up hope of menstruation, in case you do not
know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well.
As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery. And whoever is
mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them.
If a woman thinks she has despaired of age of menstruation. whether there is doubt or
whether they did not menstruate, the waiting period for such a woman is 3 months. If the
divorced women are pregnant, her waiting period is till the delivery of the child and the
verse afterwards explains how to treat them. People think “who have not menstruated
yet” means prepubescent girls but that’s false since in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh),
marriage is indeed permissible only after both parties have reached the age of puberty.
The `Iddah of Those in Menopause and Those Who do not have Menses
Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the
one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her `Iddah is three months
instead of the three-monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the
Ayah in (Surat) Al-Baqarah. see 2:228 The same for the young, who have not reached the
years of menstruation.
PAGE 7
Q) Quran 4:34
4:34 Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over
women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly
obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with.1 And if you
sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist, ˺ do not share
their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺.2 But if they change
their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.
Al-Hasan al-Basri said: “This means that it should not cause pain.”
‘Ata said: I said to Ibn `Abbas, what is the kind of hitting that is not harsh? He said,
Hitting with a siwak and the like. [A siwak is a small stick or twig used for cleaning the
teeth]
Messenger of Allah ( )ﷺsaid, "The believers who show the most perfect Faith are those
who have the best behaviour, and the best of you are those who are the best to their
wives".
The word in Arabic is also used to describe how we do wudu without water which is
called tayamum and the word us is used for one of the steps which is tapping the floor
lightly, this word is the same word used in that verse
The purpose behind this is not to hurt or humiliate the woman, rather it is intended to
make her realize that she has transgressed against her husband’s rights, and that her
husband has the right to set her straight and discipline her.
PAGE 8
Why Muhammad PBUH Had
Many Wives
The prophet Muhammad had a total of 11 wives during his lifetime, which is usually a
topic brought up when debating Islam.
The prophet Muhammad PBUH got married at 25 to Khadija who was 40, a widow and
with 3 kids.
He didn’t marry anyone else till Khadija died at 65 and the prophet was 49/50, he only
married one woman when his libido was high.
One of the important reasons the prophet married many women was because of alliance.
Our prophet married woman from some tribes that were hostile to him. If a leader of a
society married his daughter off to the prophet, he wouldn’t want to make war with them.
Since our prophet’s main mission was to deliver a message, it made sense for him to do it
through marriage. When there were wars to population the of the men decreases
significantly, and at the time of the prophet there were many widows because of that. The
companions of the prophet also married women who needed protection because of that.
Islam didn’t introduce polygamy but only limited it.
The men in the bible also had many wives, so this was nothing new.
Abraham had 3 wives (Abraham had a principal wife, Sarah (Genesis 11:29), and two
secondary wives, Hagar and Keturah (Genesis 16:3; 25:1).
Solomon had 700( First Kings 11:3 states that Solomon “had seven hundred wives,
princesses, and three hundred concubines.”)
PAGE 9
Slavery in Islam
The principle of dealing with slaves in Islam is a combination of justice, kindness,
and compassion.
Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “They are your brothers whom Allah has put under
your authority, so if Allah has put a person’s brother under his authority, let him feed him
from what he eats and clothe him from what he wears, and let him not overburden him
with work, and if he does overburden him with work, then let him help him.” Narrated by
al-Bukhari (6050).
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard Abu’l-Qasim (peace and
blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Whoever accuses his slave when he is innocent of
what he says will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection, unless he is as he said.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6858)
When ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) walked among his
slaves, no one could tell him apart from them, because he did not walk ahead of them,
and he did not wear anything different from what they wore.
One day ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab passed by and saw some slaves standing and not eating
with their master. He got angry and said to their master: What is wrong with people who
are selfish towards their servants? Then he called the servants, and they ate with them.
A man entered upon Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) and found him making
dough – and he was a governor. He said to him: O Abu ‘Abd-Allah, what is this? He said:
We have sent our servant on an errand, and we do not want to give him two jobs at once.
The Quran recognizes slavery as a source of injustice, as it places the freeing of slaves on
the same level as feeding the poor. Nevertheless, the Quran doesn't abolish slavery. One
reason given is that slavery was a major part of the 7th century socioeconomic system,
and it is abolishing it would not have been practical
PAGE 10
Preservation of The Quran
Surah 15:9 “Indeed, it is We who sent down the Quran, and indeed, we will be its
guardian."
The Qur’an was transmitted through verbal narration. There exist recognized chains of
narration, and a person can be certified (mujaz) by a muqri’ who is certified in a certain
chain. The chain goes from the person, to his muqri’, all the way back to the Prophet
Muhammad PBUH.
During the reign of Caliph Othman, a team led by Zaid Ibn Thabit drafted multiple copies
of the Quran from the original manuscript left by the Prophet for distribution to various
provinces. The caliph himself was Hafez Al Quran.
PAGE 11
Radiocarbon analysis dated the parchment on which the text is written to the period
between 568 and 645 AD. The test was carried out in a laboratory at the University of
Oxford. The result places the leaves close to the time of the Prophet Muhammad, who
lived between 570 and 632 AD.
The above graphic shows that they are identical. No words or letters are out of place.
Most of the companions learnt the Holy Quran by heart as it was revealed to the prophet
Muhammad PBUH through the angel Jibreel. The companions not only learnt the Quran
by heart during the prophet’s life, but they also wrote it down on different kinds of
materials such as bones, stones, leaves, skin, etc.
When the prophet died in 11 A.H, all parts of the Holy Quran was preserved, both in
writing and in the memory of the companions, with the same order of the Ayat and
Surahs in the holy Quran as the Prophet Muhammad exactly received it and dictated it to
others.
Zaid bin Thabit (r.a) put together all the parts of the Holy Quran in the form of a written
complied text as he was instructed by the first caliph Abu Bakr (r.a). This first complied
text known as Al Jamul Awwal was kept with Abu Bakr (r.a), then with the second
Caliph Umar and at last with Hafsa bin Umar (r.a) mother of believers.
In the 25 A.H., The third caliph Uthman (r.a) directed Zaid bin Thabit along with three
other Companions Abdullah bin Zubair, Saad bin Alas and Abdur Rahman bin Harith bin
hashim (r.a) to prepare a single standard, authentic and reliable copy from the first written
version of the Holy Quran possessed by Hafsa (r.a). For this purpose, Uthman borrowed
the first written version of the Holy Quran from Hafsa to make a standard copy.
When Zaid (r.a) has done his job, the Mushaf with Hafsa bin umar was returned to her.
This written version, termed as Uthmani Script, was kept by the Caliph Uthman with
himself in Madina. And all the other Mushaf were burnt by the Caliph Uthman with the
consensus of the companions.
The caliph Uthman send copies of this standard and authoritative version to the different
Muslim countries along with the following renowned reciters to teach the Holy Quran.
1) Zaid bin Thabit (r.a) was the reciter of the Mushaf Al Madinah,
4) Abu Abdur Rahman As Sulami (r.a) was the reciter of Mushaf Al Kufah,
PAGE 12
5) Amir bin Abdul Qais (r.a) was the reciter of the Mushaf Al Basrah, etc.
Abdullah bin Umar (r.a) handed over the Mushaf to the Caliph Marwan, who at his turn
burn this Mushaf, for fearing of its appearance which may cause the Muslims to return to
the forbidden differences.
Thus, the Quran script we have between us is the standard and reliable Uthmani Script.
1. Sahaba (Companions of the Prophet): They are the generation of Muslims who
directly interacted with and learned from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him). They hold the highest status in Islam after the prophets. The companions are
considered the most reliable sources of Hadith due to their direct contact with the
Prophet and their understanding of the context in which the Hadith was spoken.
2. Tabi'un (Followers of the Companions): They are the next generation of
Muslims who did not meet the Prophet Muhammad but learned directly from the
Companions. They are highly respected for their knowledge and understanding of
Islam, and their narrations are also considered reliable.
3. Tabi' al-Tabi'un (Followers of the Followers): This refers to the generation
after the Tabi'un, who learned from the Tabi'un. While their narrations are also
valued, they are considered one step further removed from the time of the
Prophet, so their Hadiths are scrutinized with a similar but slightly more cautious
approach compared to the Tabi'un.
Textually hafs and warsh do not differ. It is only recitation that differs. if one (Warsh)
changes in the dialects and vowels, or even one letter, however having still the same
meaning as that of Harf, it simply means both Qurans have the same meanings of the
same verse irrespective of the different ways of pronouncing a specific word.
PAGE 13
The 12 Qiraat
The Arabic language's complexity, with its diverse dialects, rich vocabulary, and
intricate grammar, made it challenging for different tribes during Prophet
Muhammad's time to follow a single mode of Quranic recitation. To address this,
the Quran was revealed in multiple Qira'at (recitations), each approved by the
Prophet. These Qira'at allow for variations in pronunciation, vowel lengths, and
certain words without altering the meaning of the verses.
There are 10 well-known Qira'at, each with two narrators (riwayat), totaling 20
primary modes of recitation. Some traditions include an additional two, making 12
Qira'at. Each Qirā'ah is named after a prominent scholar of recitation and is
recognized as a valid way of reading the Quran. These variations reflect the
linguistic diversity of the Arab tribes and accommodate their different ways of
speaking while preserving the Quran's meaning.
Examples:
1. Maliki Yawm al-Din ( )مالك يوم الدينin Surah Al-Fatiha is recited as Maliki in
some Qira'at, meaning "King of the Day of Judgment," while in others it is
recited as Maliki, meaning "Owner of the Day of Judgment." Both convey
valid meanings without contradiction.
2. Other variations may involve slight differences in word choices, like
"yakhrujoona" ( َ )يَ ْخ ُر ُجونvs. "takhrujoona" ( َ)ت َ ْخ ُر ُجون, both meaning "they come
out."
The Prophet said: "This Quran has been revealed in seven Ahruf (modes), so
recite whichever of them is easy for you." - (Sahih al-Bukhari 4992)
The Messenger of Allah said: "Gabriel recited the Quran to me in one way.
Then I requested him to read it in another way, and I continued asking him
to recite it in different ways, and he recited it in several ways until he
recited it in seven different ways." - (Sahih al-Bukhari 4991)
PAGE 14
Aishas Age
Why did this become an issue in modern times when it was not an issue at the time the
marriage took place? Why didn’t the disbelievers who were against him say anything?
The Quraysh employed every attack they possibly could on the character of the prophet
but never mentioned Aishas age nor was it mentioned once by the thirteen centuries of
islamophobia who lived closer to that time.
1. Before Aisha was married to Prophet Mohammed PBUH she was already
engaged to a non-Muslim (The prohibition of marrying unbelievers was not
issued yet). Meaning she was mature enough to marry in general, and at the time
it was culturally appropriate. So, if she hadn’t married the Prophet, she would’ve
married someone else
2. After the prophets first wife died at 65, a companion of his wanted him to remarry
and the prophet allowed her to find someone suitable for him, one of them was
Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr who was the prophets’ best friend. Khawlah (the
companion) nor Abu Bakr (Aisha’s father) raised any concerns about her age.
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3203- Narrated 'Aishah: It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The
Messenger of Allah gave us the choice, and we chose him, so there was no divorce."
Even if you don’t acknowledge this, you must consider the facts and age of consent in
history.
- Data from skeletal remains suggest that in the Paleolithic woman menarche
occurred at an age between 7 and 13 years, early sexual maturation being a trade-
off for reduced life expectancy.
- The age of consent in Delaware was 7 in 1885 and in 6th century Arabia the life
expectancy was 30. Times were different back then, something that may seem odd
today was completely normal over 1400 years ago and isn’t something that should
be brought up as an issue.
PAGE 15
War Captives (“Sex Slaves”)
24:33 But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations]
until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual
emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess1 - then make a contract with
them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah
which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire
chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should
compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and
Merciful.
Islamic law obliged slave owners to provide their female slaves with food, clothing, and
shelter, and gave female slaves protection from sexual exploitation by anyone who was
not their owner.
The Arabs had a custom of taking women captives of war; Islam did not invent this
practice. This custom of having sexual relations with slave girls was practiced by
virtually every culture at the time. The wars in the pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula were on
a tribal basis and when the men were killed, their women were taken as spoils of war.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was Sent to abolish any form of oppression.
The Prophet could have tried to abolish it at once or to do it gradually. The second path
would’ve been the better option because if such a deeply ingrained practice had been
abolished at once, thousands of women would have been left to provide for themselves.
The Prophet established a more humane and compassionate view of women and the
lower classes. Once the hearts of his followers had reached this level of ihsan, perfection,
steps were taken via Revelation and prophetic instructions to discourage the practice of
concubinage to the extent that within 100 years of the passing of the Prophet, it had been
eradicated from the Arab Peninsula.
The Prophet Muhammad ordered the Muslims to treat their war captives fairly and to
treat them how they themselves would wish to be treated. Sayyidina Abu Dzarr Jundab
ibn Junadah al-Ghifari (r.a.) narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said, “Feed those of your
slaves who please you from what you eat and clothe them with what you clothe
yourselves but sell those who do not please you and do not punish Allah’s creatures.”
This is recorded in Sunan Abu Dawud.
PAGE 16
There is also a hadith in Sunan Abu Dawud which mentioned that a man forced his slave-
girl into prostitution, whereupon Allah (s.w.t.) Sent Down a special Revelation of the
Qur’an:
… But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that you
may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet after such
compulsion, is Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them). (Surah an-Nur:33)
imam Abu’ Abdullah Muhammad ibn Idris ash-Shafi’i (r.a.) was quoted, in Kitab al-
Umm, “If a man acquires by force a slave girl, then has sexual intercourse with her after
he acquires her by force, and if he is not excused by ignorance, then the slave girl will be
taken from him, he is required to pay the fine, and he will receive the punishment for
illegal sexual intercourse.” The penalty was public lashing. Imam ash-Shafi’i’s (r.a.)
view was much stricter, as he not only said that the slave girl must be paid restitution, but
she is removed from his guardianship, and the offender is to be publicly lashed.
One rationale given for recognition of concubinage in Islam is that "it satisfied the sexual
desire of the female slaves and thereby prevented the spread of immorality in the Muslim
community." A slave master could have sex with his female slave only while she was not
married. This attempt to require sexual exclusivity for female slaves was rare in antiquity,
when female slaves generally had no claim to an exclusive sexual relationship.
The companions are similarly known to have had sexual relations with
the Hawazin women captured at the Battle of Hunayn. According to Ahmad ibn
Hanbal these women had converted to Islam.
PAGE 17
Church Fathers
No early church father believed in the same Trinity we have today, the church fathers who
did believe in Father, son and holy spirit always mentioned the superiority of the
Father which cancels out the doctrine of Nicene creed which says they’re all
coequals.
Christian Theologies
Dynamic Monarchianism
Paul of Samosata born in 200ce believed Jesus was a man of men, miraculous birth
but no preexistence
Logos theology
Logos theology believes that the Logos (or "Word") is both fully divine and distinct
from God the Father.
Justin martyr (100ce) believed Jesus was more than a man, preexisted his human
birth, divine or “god” in some sense but not equal to the father
Modalism
Teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not distinct persons but different
modes or manifestations of one God. This means God can appear as the Father at
one time, the Son at another, and the Holy Spirit at yet another, but they are not
separate entities.
Sabellius born in 215ce believed Jesus was a mode of God but not a distinct eternal
divine person
Ignatius (110 C.E.) He clearly called Jesus God but not coeternal or equal to God
the father. Scholars accused him of modalism, the son never ascribed divinity with
PAGE 18
the father, never clearly attributed pre-existence, used to subordinate the son’s
divinity with the fathers
Justin Martyr (165 C.E.)He believes the son is not eternal but a temporal product
of the fathers will, the son is a "God" but not the most high God, the son is not the
most just, the son and spirit are ranked in second after God the father, son is
worshipped after God the father, father and son are not the same power nor do
they possess the same power, father and son are divisible and separable from one
another
Irenaeus (203 C.E.) no mention of God as a trinity, the only true god is the father
alone, the son is less than the father and is subject to him, father has more
knowledge than the son,
Tertullian (240 C.E) the son is not an eternal divine person, the son was created
by God just prior to and for the creation of this world, the father is "older and
nobler" than the son and spirit, the son is less than the father as he is only a
portion of the divine substance, he used the word trinitas (trinity) to refer to 3
members but not a Trinitarian God
• Jesus was inferior to God and based his views on the Apostle creed read “I
believe the god the father almighty created of heaven and earth; I believe in
Jesus Christ his only son our lord”
Athanasius of Alexandria
Athanasius was very powerful and used to get street mobs to go and beat us
followers of Arius’ views
PAGE 19
Emperor Constantine
He was the first Roman emperor to make Christianity legal in the Roman Empire
around 313 he wasn’t a Christian himself, but he allowed it. Then this religion
entered politics
The creed that came out was they believe in one God the father almighty and in
one lord Jesus Christ the son of God begotten of the father [the essence of the
father, God of God] light of light, very god of very god, begotten not made, being
of one substance with the father
Before the Nicene Creed, there were some early Christian communities that
viewed Jesus as a prophet, emphasizing his role as a messenger of God. This
perspective saw Jesus as a divine figure who brought teachings and guidance from
God to humanity.
St Jerome says “the true profession of the Mayberry of the trinity is to own that we
do not comprehend it”
Cardinal Newman (from Church of England) said about the Aryans for the 4th
century that from the very first the rule has been for the church to preach the
truth and then appeal to the scripture in vindication of its own teaching. So, these
councils taught their own version of the truth and tried to back it up from the
scripture

Jesus Isn’t God
Common verses used to prove his divinity:
John 17:20 Jesus is in prayer to God, and he says neither prays I for these
alone but for them also which shall believe on me thru their word
(Jesus prays not only for his disciples but also for all future believers, that
they may be united just as he is united with the Father.)
21: That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also
may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 I have
given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I
in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the
world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Jesus prays for all believers to be united in the same way he is united with the
Father. This unity is characterized by shared purpose, mission, and love. So does
that mean all the disciples and future believers are God as well?
God replied to Moses: I am who I am. Then he added: This is what you will tell the
Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.
Meaning “I am” refers to the name “God” so technically Jesus saying Before
Abraham was, I am, means before Abraham was, God
John 9:9 (Some said, “It is,” but others said, “No, he just looks like him.” He said, “I
am.”)
The person speaking is the man who was healed of his blindness. He is confirming
his identity to those who are questioning whether he is the same person who used
to be blind so yet again Jesus was never claiming to be God by saying "i am "

A question to ask yourself about John 8:58
2 Corinthians 10:18 For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved,
but the one whom the Lord commends. 18 When people commend themselves, it
doesn't count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them.
John 7:16-18 Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one
who sent me. 17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my
teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18 Whoever speaks on
their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one
who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.
John 1:1
In John 6:60
In Greek it translates to
The “word” John is talking about in John 1:1 is the same word which Jesus is talking
about in John 17:6-14 when he’s praying to his god and the same word logos is used
for the “word”
“I have [a]manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the
world. They were Yours, you gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from
You.8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me.. 14 I have
given them Your word”
So, if Jesus is the word the word was given the word? God gave the word to the
word
PAGE 22
John 1:14 the Word became flesh
I have manifested your name means gods character his essence and who he is
John’s gospel tells us how the word became flesh Jesus says things like the father
gave to him to have life in himself or John 6:57 he lives bc of the father
God gave this word of John 1:1 to Jesus so that he could make the father known to
the world, the word was God
Revelation 1:8, Revelation 21:6, and Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the
Omega”
The phrase "I am the Alpha and Omega" in Revelation is part of a vision, not
Jesus' direct words. The book is symbolic, with questionable authorship,
and likely written by an anonymous figure. This makes it an unreliable
source for Jesus' actual teachings.

Knows all things 1 John 3:20
Jesus:
The Shema refers to the God of the Israelite Jesus and his God
was not a Trinity
Jesus was commanded to worship the God of Israel, "Hear O ISRAEL, the Lord
OUR God is one." The Shema command refers to "OUR" God where "OUR" refers
to the people of Israel. He was required to worship OUR God and since he only
worshiped the Father alone, Jesus proved to us that "OUR" God, Israel's God, is the
Father alone.
Jesus shows us the Shema means "our God" is one single HE who we are to serve.
Mark 12:32; Deut 4:35. Jesus also shows us how to identify that one single HE - his
Father alone - "there is NO OTHER but HE." Jesus identified that HE as the Father
alone. He has made us to be... priests TO HIS God and Father. Rev 1:6. Even
further, this command was for every Israelite including Jesus, a Jew born under the
Law. It says, "the Lord OUR God." Jesus was required to recognize and serve
ISRAEL'S God. He did this by recognizing and serving only one person, the Father,
as "OUR" God, that is, ISRAEL'S God. Israel's God = Jesus' God. "OUR God" for
Jesus meant one person only.
This proves beyond any doubt that the God of Israel was only one person.
Otherwise, Jesus did not obey the Shema commandment. He refers to who and not
"what" which is what would be used to refer to the trinity

Gods spirit
Holy Spirit = God’s power
Numbers 27:18 & Judges 14:6 show the Spirit of God empowering individuals for
specific tasks
Luke 1:35 shows the Spirit as God's power enabling Mary to conceive Jesus.
2 Peter 1:21 the Holy Spirit is seen as God's guiding power behind prophecy,
moving prophets to speak God's words, emphasizing it as God's influence, not a
separate entity.
Job 33:4- The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives
me life. God's Spirit is connected to creation and life-giving power, showing that
life itself originates from God's energy and breath, not implying a separate person.
John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth. This highlights that God is spirit, meaning He is non-physical
and omnipresent. Worship should be aligned with His spiritual nature,
emphasizing inner sincerity and truth.
Psalm 139:7: Where can I go from your Spirit? God's Spirit here is
synonymous with His omnipresence. It conveys that God's power and presence
are everywhere, reinforcing that His Spirit is His divine influence, not a separate
being.
(These passages describe the angel appearing to Moses in the burning bush, but it
is referred to as God speaking through the angel. In non-Trinitarian

understanding, angels can manifest as representatives of God, carrying His
authority and message, not as God Himself.)
exodus 23:20-22
(God sends an angel to lead and protect Israel, but the angel acts with God's power
and authority. This again aligns with the view that angels can be God's messengers
or instruments, not divine beings themselves.)
2 Samuel 7:12-14
When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your
offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his
kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish
the throne of his kingdom forever.14 I will be his father, and he will be my son.
When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings
inflicted by human hands
24 My faithful love will be with him, and through my name his horn will be exalted
26-28 He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior. And
I will appoint him to be my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth. I
will maintain my love to him forever, and my covenant with him will never fail.

The Bible – Changes
Motel bible 2020 -> ESV 2001 (rendered into modern English to render the 21-century
audience) -> revised standard version of 1952 -> American standard version of 1901 ->
English revised version late 1800s -> king James edition 1611.
King James used several sources for its translation, for the Old Testament it used a
translation into English of the Hebrew and Aramaic Masoretic text, copied, edited and
distributed by the group of Jews called the Masoretic between 7th and 10th centuries ad
(Old Testaments)
Vulgate: Latin version of the Bible which shares a common origin text with MT but
contains differences
Codex vaticanus: (300ad) written in Greek.
Codex Sinaiticus: written in Greek around 330 to 360ad.
Aquila of sinople:2nd century
Papyrus 66: discovered in Egypt dated to around 200 ad as a near complete codex
of gospel of John
A monk would manually copy by hand from one document to the newer
parchment which could take weeks, months, or years. The scribes who produced
the copies of the bible accidentally, or sometimes intentionally added/ removed
things. So how is it the word of God if we don’t have the words inspired by God but
only the words copied by the scribes, which is mostly incorrectly.
There are others which aren’t said to be mistakes but intentional and motivated
alteration to the texts. Verses words or passages have been added, subtracted or
altered. Scholars of all religions including Christianity recognize this

1. Goliath’s height:
The battle between the young king David and the giant philistine Goliath in the
Old Testament book of Samuel
The giant has been described in the English Bible Houston churches today in 1
Samuel chapter 17 verse 4.
PAGE 31
This height originates in Masoretic text (MT) around the late 1st millennium ad
however all the oldest copies of this book in verse such as the Dead Sea scrolls
render Goliaths height as a much shorter.
This shorter goliath is also confirmed by other historical nonbiblical texts such as
the writings of the historian Josephus in first century AD
The shorter goliath seems to be the correct one. Christian scholar and professor J
Daniel Hays agrees with this and argues for reducing the last height in modern
bibles and the motivation for this change is that of a tall tale
The titles and authors given in the gospel of the New Testament read in large bold
text. Some bibles state that these books were written by Jesus’ disciples’ indirect
eyewitnesses to the events.
Mathew being written by Jesus’ disciple Mathew the former tax collector.
PAGE 32
It was assumed by early Christian that at the time that these texts weren’t written
by the disciples or by anyone who had significance in Jesus’s life. It’s obvious the
disciples hadn’t written these texts bc they were written in Greek by educated
Greek speakers bc at the time ab only 10% of the population could read and these
people would be in cities and not the type of areas where Jesus disciples might’ve
been from which they may have been peasants (Mathew 4:17 and acts 4:13 - this
outright stated that Peter and John couldn’t read)
Most scholars agree that none of the gospels weren’t written by eyewitnesses and
more likely to have been written by urban Christian’s who were recording oral and
written traditions, sayings and stories about Jesus passed down and compiling
them in a text.
The gospel of Mathew is written completely in third person using “they” to refer to
the disciples and not “we” and Mathew was never referred to as “me” but instead
“we”. Same w Luke and john
(John 21:24) the anonymous author stated that he gathered this information for
this text from an eyewitness of Jesus and that he had not met Jesus himself the
author dictated the gospel from whoever this person was.
It was only traditions made decades after this that tried to tie names to these
untitled and anonymous texts and the names stuck even though there was no
factual or textual evidence.
3. Johannine comma
The trinity is a dental doctrine in most sects of Christianity which states God is
one but 3 distinct beings at the same time. The trinity is so common nowadays
that believes never learned that were was once a violent and deadly debate
between Christian’s that believed in the trinity and those that didn’t.
The doctrine is never explicitly stated in the New Testament and was thus not
believed by all Christian’s for centuries. One of the few verses that does mention it
is chapter 5 verse 7-8
PAGE 33
The statement “the father, the word and the Holy Ghost in these three are one” has
come under question by modern biblical scholars it does not appear in any of the
oldest manuscripts of this text.
PAGE 34
Even early Christian’s have believed in the trinity such as clement of Alexandria
when quoting this particular verse did not include the extra words “the father, the
word and the Holy Ghost” the extra words have been given the name “The
Johannine Comma” by modern scholars and it understood to be an addition to the
original version of first John first appearing in the Larkin vulgate after the ninth
century and in Greek manuscripts in the fifteenth century
in all older manuscripts the Comma is completely absent which seems to have
originated as a marginal note in some Latin manuscripts during the Middle Ages
Most scholars agree that verses 9–20 were not part of the original text of Mark but
are a later addition.
PAGE 35
- A valuable Old Syriac manuscript from the fourth century also ends
Mark at 16:8. A Sahidic Coptic manuscript (probably from the fifth
century) ends Mark’s Gospel at 16:8 as well.
- In 1937, E. C. Colwell identified 99 Armenian manuscripts of Mark
(of 220 surveyed) ending at 16:8, and a further 33 containing 16:9–20
but with notes expressing doubt about the verses’ authenticity.
- A Christian named Marinus wrote to Eusebius (c. AD 265–339) to ask
for help resolving a perceived contradiction between Matthew and
Mark. Marinus asked why Matthew (28:1) says Jesus appeared “late
on the Sabbath,” but Mark (16:9) says Jesus appeared “early on the
first day of the week.” Eusebius responded that one possible solution
to this problem was simply to reject Mark 16:9 as not part of Mark’s
Gospel.

Biblical Authors
Beginning around A.D. 70, about four decades after Jesus’s crucifixion (according
to the Bible), four anonymously written chronicles of his life emerged that would
become central documents in the Christian faith.
But for more than a century, scholars have generally agreed that the Gospels, like
many of the books of the New Testament, were not actually written by the people
to whom they are attributed. In fact, it seems clear that the stories that form the
basis of Christianity were first communicated orally, and passed down from
generation to generation, before they were collected and written down. “Names
are attached to the titles of the Gospels (‘the Gospel according to Matthew’),”
writes Bible scholar Bart Ehrman in his book Jesus, Interrupted. “But these titles
are later additions to the Gospels, provided by editors and scribes to inform
readers who the editors thought were the authorities behind the different
versions.”
Mathew 5:19 this is what Paul was doing so it’s Jesus’ warning from Paul

Slavery
Slavery in the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament, was a practice that wasn't
fully condemned, and even the regulations around it weren't in a good way. It
involved owning people as property, often due to debt or as prisoners of war. Some
laws offered minimal protections, such as fair treatment and potential freedom
after a set period. However, these guidelines still permitted the ownership and
mistreatment of people as slaves, which is deeply troubling from a modern ethical
perspective.
Exodus 21:20-21 20- “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must
be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if
the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.
Exodus 21:7 7- When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she shall not go free as
male slaves do.
1 Peter 2:18- Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not
only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.
Exodus 21:7-11 -When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at
the end of six years as the men are. If she does not, please the man who bought
her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to
foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave
girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave
girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then
takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her
as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman
without making any payment.
Ephesians 6:5 -Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve
them sincerely as you would serve Christ. 5 Servants, respectfully obey your earthly
masters but always with an eye to obeying the real master, Christ.
Exodus 21:20-21- “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be
punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the
slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.
PAGE 39
Leviticus 25:44-46 - “However, you may purchase male and female slaves from
among the nations around you. 45 You may also purchase the children of
temporary residents who live among you, including those who have been born in
your land. You may treat them as your property, 46 passing them on to your
children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat them as slaves, but you must
never treat your fellow Israelites this way.
Exodus 21:2-6- 2 “If you buy a Hebrew slave, he may serve for no more than six
years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his
freedom. 3 If he was single when he became your slave, he shall leave single. But if
he was married before he became a slave, then his wife must be freed with him.
4 “If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave and they had sons or
daughters, then only the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and
children will still belong to his master. 5 But the slave may declare, ‘I love my
master, my wife, and my children. I don’t want to go free.’ 6 If he does this, his
master must present him before God.[a] Then his master must take him to the
door or doorpost and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will
serve his master for life.
Luke 12:47-48- 47 “And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t
prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished. 48
But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be
punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required
in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be
required.
1 Timothy 6:1-2- All slaves should show full respect for their masters so they will
not bring shame on the name of God and his teaching. 2 If the masters are
believers, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. Those slaves should work all the
harder because their efforts are helping other believers[a] who are well loved.
PAGE 40
Concubines
The Bible contains several disturbing examples related to the treatment of women,
such as concubines, the selling of daughters, and the mistreatment of Lot's
daughters. Concubines were women with lower status than wives, kept bearing
children and serve the household, essentially treated as property. In Exodus 21:7-11,
fathers were allowed to sell their daughters into servitude, with limited protections
if they were taken as wives, but the idea of selling daughters like property is deeply
unsettling. In one of the most troubling stories, Genesis 19:8, Lot offers his
daughters to be raped by a crowd to protect his guests, showing how women were
sometimes treated as expendable in extreme situations. These examples highlight
a culture where women were often viewed as possessions or bargaining tools,
which is starkly at odds with modern values of human dignity and gender equality.
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 - If a man comes upon a young woman, a virgin who is not
betrothed, seizes her and lies with her, and they are discovered, 29the man who lay
with her shall give the young woman's father fifty silver shekels and she will be his
wife, because he has violated her.
Genesis 16:2-4: so, she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children.
Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.” Abram agreed
to what Sarai said. 3 So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his
wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. 4
He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.
Genesis 30:4: "So Rachel gave her servant, Bilhah, to Jacob as a wife, and he slept
with her."
Leviticus 25:44-46 - ‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations
around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the
temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your
country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your
children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not
rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
PAGE 41
Leviticus 19-20 “‘If a man sleeps with a female slave who is promised to another
man but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due
punishment. Yet they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed.
Numbers 31:15-18 - “Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. 16 “These
are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to
rebel against the Lord at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to
strike the Lord’s people. 17 So kill all the boys and all the women who have had
intercourse with a man. 18 Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may
keep them for yourselves.
Numbers 31:18: "But save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
Judges 19:25: "But the men would not listen to him. So the man seized his
concubine and took her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her
throughout the night, and at dawn, they let her go."
2 Samuel 13:14: "But he refused to listen to her, and since he was stronger than she,
he raped her."
Genesis 19:8: "Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me
bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them."
2 Samuel 15:16, 2 Samuel 16:21-22) King David had several concubines in addition to
his wives. After David's death, his son Absalom took his concubines to assert his
claim to the throne
1 Kings 11:3 Solomon had many wives and concubines, totaling 700 wives and 300
concubines. This practice was partly political, to form alliances with other nations
Genesis 16:1-4 Abraham had a concubine named Hagar, who was initially Sarah's
maidservant. Hagar bore Abraham a son, Ishmael
Genesis 30:1-13 Jacob had two concubines, Bilhah and Zilpah, who were
maidservants of his wives Rachel and Leah, respectively. Bilhah and Zilpah each
bore Jacob two sons
Judges 8:30-31 Gideon, one of the judges of Israel, had many wives and a
concubine who lived in Shechem. She bore him a son named Abimelech
Genesis 35:22 While Israel was living in that region, Reuben went in and slept with
his father’s concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard of it.
PAGE 42
Disturbing Practices in the OT
Of the three books, the project found, the Old Testament is
the most violent, with approximately 5.3% of the text referring to
"Destruction and killing" — the Quran clocked in at just 2.1%, with
the New Testament slightly higher at 2.8%.
Numbers 31:7-18: Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a
man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.
(Numbers 31:18 is part of a passage where Moses instructs the Israelites on what to
do with the Midianite women and children after a battle. In this verse, Moses
commands the Israelites to kill all the boys and non-virgin women but to spare the
young virgin girls, effectively taking them as captives)
Numbers 25:16-18 The Lord said to Moses, 17 “Treat the Midianites as enemies and
kill them. 18 They treated you as enemies when they deceived you in the Peor
incident involving their sister Kozbi, the daughter of a Midianite leader, the
woman who was killed when the plague came because of that incident.”
Deuteronomy 22:20 - But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not
found for the damsel: 21then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her
father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die:
because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so
shalt thou put evil away from among you.
Deuteronomy 17:2-7 - If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns
the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation
of his covenant, 3 and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing
down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky, 4 and this has been
brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and
it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, 5 take the
man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that

person to death. 6 On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be
put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one
witness. 7 The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to
death, and then the hands of all the people. You must purge the evil from
among you.
Deuteronomy 13:6-16 - If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the
wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and
worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods
of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the
other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not
spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your
hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the
people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from
the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of
slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do
such an evil thing again.
Judges 8:19-21- “They were my brothers!” Gideon exclaimed. “As surely as the
LORD lives, I wouldn’t kill you if you hadn’t killed them.” Turning to Jether, his
oldest son, he said, “Kill them!” But Jether did not draw his sword, for he was only
a boy and was afraid. Then Zebah and Zalmunna said to Gideon, “Don’t ask a boy
to do a man’s job! Do it yourself!” So, Gideon killed them both and took the royal
ornaments from the necks of their camels.
Judges 19:25-26: But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his
concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her
throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. 26 At daybreak the woman
went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down at the door and
lay there until daylight. When he reached home, he took a knife and cut up his
concubine, limb by limb, into twelve parts and sent them into all the areas of
Israel.
2 Samuel 13:14 But he refused to listen to her, and since he was stronger than she,
he raped her.
Judges 21:10-24: This passage describes how the Israelites, after a civil conflict,
needed to find wives for the remaining men of the tribe of Benjamin. They decided
PAGE 44
to capture women from Shiloh, who were participating in a festival, to provide
wives for these men. This action involved the abduction of women, which is a form
of enforced marriage and raises serious ethical issues, including the violation of
their autonomy.
Numbers 31:7-18: In this passage, the Israelites are instructed to kill all the
Midianite men and non-virgin women, but to take the young virgin girls as
captives. These captives could potentially be used as concubines or servants. The
text reflects a practice where women were treated as spoils of war, which is
troubling from a modern perspective as it involves sexual exploitation and forced
servitude.
Deuteronomy 21:11-14 If you see a pretty woman among the captives then just
take her home and “go in unto her.”
Deuteronomy 22:23-24 women who are raped and fail to “cry out loud” in a
populated area are most likely enjoying the attack should be killed.
Deuteronomy 20:13-15 Kill all the men and boys in the cities that God “delivers
into your hands,” but keep the women for raping.
Leviticus 19:20 Says that if a man has sex with a slave or betrothed woman he must then
“scourge” her.
Genesis 19:31-36: One day the older daughter said to the younger, “Our father is old,
and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth.
32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line
through our father.” 33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older
daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when
she got up. 34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, “Last night I slept
with my father. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with
him so we can preserve our family line through our father.” 35 So they got their father to
drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went in and slept with him. Again,
he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 36 So both of Lot’s
daughters became pregnant by their father.
Genesis 38:15-18 15 When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had
covered her face. 16 Not realizing that she was his daughter-in-law, he went over to her
by the roadside and said, “Come now, let me sleep with you.” - she got pregnant
PAGE 45
Sexism
For some reason, Islam is said to be very sexist as it oppresses women for their
heading coverings even tho the bible mentions the same. The women must also
wear a head covering but for different reasons, which puts women below men.
Quran gave many rights to women some include the right to inheritance, a bridal
gift (Mehr) and much more.
Head Covering
Quran 24:31 - And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their
chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.2 Let
them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺
adornments3 except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their
sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow
women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire,
or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their
feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance
all together, O believers, so that you may be successful
1 Corinthians 11:6-10 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well
have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or
her head shaved, then she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his
head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of
man. for man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man
created for woman, but woman for man. It is for this reason that a woman ought
to have authority over her own head, because of the angels.
A woman is ought to cover her hair not because of modesty but since she is the
glory of a man while a man is the glory of God. This is not equality.
Equality
(Quran 3:195) “So, their Lord responded to them: “I will never deny any of you—
male or female—the reward of your deeds. Both are equal in reward….”
PAGE 46
(Quran 4:124) “But those who do good—whether male or female—and have faith
will enter Paradise and will never be wronged even as much as the speck on a date
stone”
Leviticus 27:3-7 God places a dollar value on human life; with women worth less
than men.
The Apple
Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your
conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your
husband, and he shall rule over you.” (all women must suffer great pains during
childbirth due to Eve eating the fruit of knowledge)
Surah Al-A'raf (7:19-23): Allah commanded Adam and his wife (Eve) not to
approach the forbidden tree. However, Satan tempted them both, and they ate
from the tree. After realizing their mistake, both Adam and Eve sought forgiveness
from Allah, and He forgave them.
The Bible places the blame on Eve for eating from the tree and imposes the
punishment of painful childbirth on all women. In contrast, Islam holds both
Adam and Eve equally responsible for the mistake, without associating childbirth
with punishment for women.
Divorce
1 Corinthians 7:10-11 A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does,
she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband.
The thing which is prohibited is a wife seeking a divorce from her husband for no
(valid) reason in the Shari’ah.
It is reported in the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him), "If a woman asks her husband for a divorce, for no reason, then the smell of
Paradise is forbidden for her". (At-Tirmidhi narrated it. He said this is a hasan
hadith. Sunan At-Tirmidhi, 1187.) But if there’s a valid reason, if the husband is
abusive, she can seek divorce.
PAGE 47
Selling daughters into slavery
Exodus 21:7 7 When a man sells his daughter as a slave; she shall not go free as
male slaves do.
God not only sanctions selling one’s daughter into slavery, but he also gives out
laws on how it should be done.
Islam does not condone or permit the selling of daughters into slavery, and such
actions are contrary to Islamic teachings on human dignity and justice.
Surah An-Nisa 4:32: Encourages mutual respect and equitable treatment within
families, emphasizing that women should not be mistreated or exploited.
Birth
Leviticus 12:1-8 Explains that a woman must be purified after giving birth because
she is “unclean”. It goes on to say that birthing a male is cleaner than birthing a
female, hence a mother must purify twice as long when having a daughter
"Whoever has three daughters and is patient towards them, and feeds them, gives
them to drink, and clothes them from his wealth; they will be a shield for him from
the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.'" Sunan Ibn Majah 3669
Women speaking
A well-known example is the case of Aisha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad,
who was an active scholar and would often narrate Hadith, teach, and even engage
in discussions and debates with companions of the Prophet. Her participation in
spreading knowledge is highly valued in Islamic tradition.
Periods
PAGE 48
Leviticus 15:19-22- “‘When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of
her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be
unclean till evening.
20 “‘Anything she lies on during her period will be unclean, and anything she sits
on will be unclean. 21 Anyone who touches her bed will be unclean; they must
wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till
evening.22 Anyone who touches anything she sits on will be unclean; they must
wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
Leviticus 15:30- The priest is to sacrifice one for a sin offering and the other for a
burnt offering. - A woman gets sins for menstruating
The Prophet Muhammad maintained normal interactions with his wives during
their menstrual periods, demonstrating that menstruation should not be a barrier
to social or familial relations. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported:
"This is a matter Allah has written upon the daughters of Adam." (Sahih al-
Bukhari 294)
PAGE 49
Faith
We are told salvation is obtained by faith alone (John 3:18 & 36) yet Jesus told a
man to follow the Commandments-Matthew 19:16-18 (saving by works)-if he
wanted eternal life.
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
... a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ ... for if
righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! (Galatians
2: 16-21)
James 2:14- What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no
deeds? Can such faith save him?
James 2:14 - ...a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.
PAGE 50
The Crucifixion
This dogma necessitates that all the people before the time of Jesus including the
Prophets, and their followers could not be saved because they did not believe that
Prophet Jesus died for their sins.
The Gospels differ on who carried the cross. Matthew 27:32 says Jesus carried it
himself, while John 19:17 mentions Simon of Cyrene carrying it.
In Matthew 27:44, both criminals insult Jesus, whereas Luke 23:39-43 depicts one
criminal insulting Him and the other defending Him.
Matthew 28:2: Two women see one angel sitting on the stone.
Mark 16:5: Three women see one man (interpreted as an angel) sitting inside the
tomb.
Luke 24:3: Many women see two men standing beside them.
John 20:12: One woman sees two angels sitting where Jesus’ body had been.
The disciples did not witness the alleged crucifixion as, according to the Bible.
Mark 14:50, all the disciples forsook Jesus and fled during the crucifixion.
These verses are clear evidence that Jesus was not crucified and resurrected
because Jesus proved that he was not a spirit, and according to the Bible, the
resurrected body is spiritual:

No Day of Judgement According
to Old Testament
Ecclesiastes 9:5 they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
Ecclesiastes 9:9 all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under
the sun—all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome
labor under the sun.
Job 19:6-7 then know that God has wronged me, and drawn his net around me.
many verses in the Old Testament deny life after death and consequently
encourage people to enjoy the life of this world lawfully or unlawfully. This wrong
belief confirms that the Torah and the teachings of the Prophets, have been
changed by the materialistic Jews.
The denial of life after death did shake the Jews' belief in Allah and His justice.
Therefore, they accused Allah of injustice and lack of mercy. Because many Jews
had no belief in punishment and reward after death, all kinds of evil and crime
spread among them to the extent that they killed many Prophets and tried to kill
Prophet Jesus (pbuh).
Mathew 16:27-28 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with
his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they
see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Contradictions
1. Mark 4:31- It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on
earth. mustard seed isn’t the smallest seed
2. 2 Samuel 8:4 states: "David took from him 1,700 horsemen and 20,000-foot
soldiers." 1 Chronicles 18:4 states: "David captured from him 7,000
horsemen and 20,000-foot soldiers."
3. Luke indicates in his account of Jesus’ birth that joseph and Mary returned
to Nazareth just over a month after they had come to Bethlehem (and
performed the rites of purification luke2:39) whereas Mathew indicates
they instead fled to Egypt (matt 2:19-22)
4. Galatians 1:8 - Paul wrote Galatians and he wasn’t an eyewitness of Jesus.
In acts 9:3 he saw light coming to him telling him what to say but 2
Corinthians 11:14 tells u if an angel of light comes to u don’t trust what they
say
5. Jesus says: “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor, and hate thine enemy” (Matthew 5:43). This statement does not
exist in the OT either. In fact, Proverbs 24:17 says, “Rejoice not when thine
enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth…”
6. Matthew 10:34 (“I came not to send peace but a sword”) contradicts verses
such as Matthew 26:52 (“Put up again thy sword into his place: for all that
take the sword shall perish with the sword”).
7. Jesus says in Luke 2:13-14 that he came to bring peace on earth. Matthew
10:34 Jesus back peddles and says he did not come to bring peace on earth.
8. Leviticus 11:20-23 states that insects have four legs, which is not accurate
biologically.
9. Matthew 27:5 states that Judas died by hanging himself, while Acts 1:18
says he fell headlong and burst open.
10. Jesus told us to “Love your enemies; bless them that curse you,” but ignored
his own advice by repeatedly denouncing his opposition. Matthew 23:17
(“Ye fools and blind”), Matthew 12:34 (“0 generation of vipers”), and
Matthew 23:27 (. . . hypocrites . . . ye are like unto whited sepulchers. . .”) are
excellent examples of hypocrisy.
11. In Luke 12:4 Jesus told his followers to “Be not afraid of them that kill the
body.” But Matthew 12:14-16, John 7:1, 8:59, 10:39, 11:53-54, & Mark 1:45
show that Jesus consistently feared death. Jesus went out of his way to hide,
run, and attempt escape from the Roman and Jewish authorities.
12. Luke 14:26 Jesus says, “If any man come unto me, and hate not his father,
and mother, and wife, and children, and brother, and sisters, yea, and his own
life also, he cannot be my disciple.” John 3:15 “Whosoever hateth his brother
is a murderer.”
PAGE 53
13. Jesus said, “whosoever shall say, thou fool, shall be in danger of hell
fire” (Matthew 5:22). Yet, he himself did so repeatedly, as Matthew 23:17-
19 and Luke 11:40 & 12:20 show. Clearly Jesus should be in danger of hell
too?
14. Luke 23:43 Jesus said to the thief on the cross, “Today shalt thou be with me
in paradise.” This obviously must be false, for Jesus was supposed to lay
dead in the tomb for three days following his crucifixion.
15. Numbers 11: 13-15 moses wanted to be killed - 1 Kings 19:4 & Jonah 4:3
Elijah wanted to be killed
16. How did Jesus receive the holy spirt at baptism if he was a part of it
17. 1 Chronicles 21:11-12 states: "So Gad went to David and said to him, 'This is
what the LORD says: Take your choice: three years of famine, three months
of being swept away before your enemies, with their swords overtaking you,
or three days of the sword of the LORD—days of plague in the land, with
the angel of the LORD ravaging every part of Israel.'" - The difference is in
the duration of the famine: 2 Samuel mentions three years of famine, 1
Chronicles mentions seven years of famine.
18. 1 Kings 7:26 states: "It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was like
the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held two thousand baths." 2
Chronicles 4:5 states: "It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was
like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths."
19. 1 Kings 4:26 states: "Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his
chariots and twelve thousand horsemen." 2 Chronicles 9:25 states:
"Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve
thousand horsemen."
20. 2 Kings 8:26 states: "Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became
king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was
Athaliah, a granddaughter of Omri king of Israel." 2 Chronicles 22:2 states:
"Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one
year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah, a granddaughter of
Omri."
21. 2 Kings 24:8 states: "Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became
king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was
Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem." 2 Chronicles
36:9 states: "Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he
reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days. He did evil in the eyes of
the LORD."
PAGE 54
• 2 Chronicles mentions a reign of three months and ten days.
22. Matthew 1:16: "And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was
born Jesus, who is called Christ." Luke 3:23: "Now Jesus himself was about

(Mark 8:12-13) Jesus announced that no signs would be given to that generation.
(Mark 16:20) They went out preaching, and the Lord confirmed the word through
accompanying signs.
(John 20:30) (Acts 2:22) Jesus provided many wonders and signs.
(Acts 5:12 & 8:13) many signs and wonders were done through the apostles.
PAGE 55
False Prophecies
1. The gospels (especially Matthew 21:4 and John 12:14-15) claim that Jesus
fulfills the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. But the next few verses (Zechariah
9:10-13) show that the person referred to in this verse is a military king that
would rule “from sea to sea”. Since Jesus had neither an army nor a
kingdom, he could not have fulfilled this prophecy.
1. Jesus' disciples want to know when the end will come, and he replies in:
Matthew 24:32-34. in the bible the fig tree is often used as an imagine of the
nation of Israel. putting forth its leaves would mean that the nation, after
lying dormant for a season (the winter), would come back to life. Israel
comes back to life 1948 when it became a sovereign nation. Jesus indicates
that the end will come within the very generation that this was to occur. a
generation in the bible is 40 years which has already passed
1. Jesus’ prophecy in John 13:38 (“The cock shall not crow, till thou [Peter] hast
denied me three times”) is false. Mark 14:66-68 shows the cock crowed after
the first denial, not the third.
1. Matthew 16:28, where Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, some who are standing
here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his
kingdom." its a failed prophecy because it suggests that Jesus' second
coming would occur within the lifetime of some of his disciples, which did
not happen.
2. Mathew 24:30-34 & mark 9:1,, The New Testament says Jesus told his
disciples that their generation would not pass away until the kingdom of
god comes and each person is rewarded according to what he had done.
Their generation already passed, and nothing happened
PAGE 56
The Source of Religion
(Acts 8:14-17) When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the
word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been
baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands
on them, and they received the Holy Spirit
(Acts 10:44-47) While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on
all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter
were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the
Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter
said, "
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place .. All of them
were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit
enabled them...
(acts 2:1-17) Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed
the crowd: ... this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and
daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, ur old men will dream
dreams
Acts 21:8-9 …Philip the evangelist one of the seven. He had 4 unmarried daughters
who prophesied
According to the Bible, Gods revelation was not restricted to the Prophets only.
The Holy Spirit guided and inspired the Church and its members because the
promised gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the followers of Christ at
Pentecost (Acts 2:1).
Furthermore, the gift of the Holy Spirit was not limited to the apostles of Prophet
Jesus Christ (pbuh), but was given to all the believers, men and women, young and
PAGE 57
old, Israelites and non-Israelites; and consequently, people were able to prophesy
and speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit was speaking through them.
(Matthew 10:19,20; Acts 8:14-17; Acts 10:44-47; Acts 11:1; Acts 2:1-41)
• Tens of gospels were written and preached. Each one of them contradicts
the other (Galatians 1:6; 2 Corinthians 11:4)
• Many people appointed themselves as apostles of Christ. Each one of them
preached a different gospel and cursed other apostles and accused them of
being false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ
(2 Corinthians 11:13)
• Many Christians overlooked the teachings of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and
followed the teachings of Paul who never saw Jesus (pbuh) and never
consulted the disciples of Prophet Jesus (pbuh), (Galatians 1:11-16). Paul
wrote more Books of the Bible than any other author, while Prophet Jesus
(pbuh) did not write a single word. Paul's letters have no reference to the
teachings of Prophet Jesus (pbuh). In fact, Paul's teachings contradict the
teachings of Prophet Jesus (pbuh).
• • The teachings of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) have been replaced with what
people saw in dreams. The Law of Allâh which was revealed to Prophet
Moses (pbuh) and approved by Prophet Jesus (pbuh) was replaced with
dreams. The Law of Allâh forbids the pig and other abominable things,
(Leviticus 11:7,8; Isaiah 66:17). However, a dream of Peter cancelled this law
and consequently all animals, reptiles and birds were allowed,
• (Acts 11:5-9) Paul described the "Law of Allah" as "the law of sin and death"
(Romans 8:2), and said: "Now that faith has come, we are no longer under
the supervision of the law."
• (Galatians 3:25) Prophet Jesus (pbuh) taught the Oneness of Allâh and
confirmed that he was just a Messenger, and the disciples followed his
teachings. However, by the end of the first century and as a result of the
alleged inspiration of the Holy Spirit, most Christians exalted Prophet Jesus
(pbuh) into the divine sphere, and afterwards in the fourth century the
doctrine of Trinity was invented, and Prophet Jesus (pbuh) became their
god besides Allah
If what people see in dreams represents the actual Will of God, then all people are
Prophets because all people dream. If people could prophesy, make laws and
change the Law of Allâh according to their dreams and according to the alleged
inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then why did Allah send His Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
and reveal His Gospel to him?
PAGE 58
• The New Testament Books contain many mistakes such as the confirmation
that the generation of disciples would not pass away until the kingdom of
God comes (Matthew 16:27. Matthew 24:30-35; Mark 9:1). This incorrect
prophecy proves that the Holy Spirit did not inspire the writers.
Let the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar lives
rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops.
Let them give glory to the Lord...
But those who trust in idols, who say to images, 'You are our gods,' will be turned
back in utter shame. (Isaiah 42:1-17)
Commentary
This prophecy is a very clear prophecy. It does not fit but Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh). It is a clear description of Prophet Muhammad, his ministry, his followers
and his enemies.
“My servant”
Prophet Muhammad and all the other Prophets are servants of Allah. They did not
have any divine qualities, as they were all humans created by Allah like the rest of
mankind.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent as a mercy and guidance for all humans:
And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a
warner to all mankind (Qur'ân, 34:28)
PAGE 59
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought the religion of Islam which made people of
all nation’s brothers entitled to equal rights without any racism or discrimination
and established a society in which justice prevails; Muslims and non-Muslims are
equally treated.
Furthermore, Islam has shown the height of tolerance towards other religions,
which is admitted even by its enemies.
Despite the strong hostility of his enemies, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had not
been weakened or discouraged until he overcame his enemies, spread Islam and
established justice.
Prophet Muhammad is the Prophet who brought a new law which is the Islamic
Law. All Israelite Prophets after Prophet Moses did not bring a new law as they
maintained the Law of Prophet Moses.
“Let the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar
lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the
mountaintops. Let them give glory to the Lord... “
The word 'Kedar' confirms that this servant is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because
he is the only Prophet who descended from Kedar the son of Ishmael the son of
Abraham:
These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth:
Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar .. (Genesis
25:13)
Furthermore, except for Prophet Abraham and Ishmael, the descendants of Kedar
had not followed any other Prophet until the coming of Prophet Muhammad.
After they followed Prophet Muhammad and embraced Islam, they started raising
their voices from the minarets of mosques five times a day giving glory to the Lord
and bearing witness that there is no god but Him. They also started shouting from
the mountaintops during the annual pilgrimage praising and thanking Allah.
