LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR KUM YANIK FUH
I have the pleasure to write this recommendation for Kum Yanik Fuh, who has been my student
at the master level from 2021 – 2023.
Kum Yanik Fuh enrolled for a two-years Masters of Science degree in the Department of Animal
Biology and Conservation at the Faculty of Science of the University of Buea in the 2021/2022
academic year, specializing in Agricultural Entomology. He took courses in Insect Pest
Management, Applied Entomology, Insect Systematics, Research methods in Zoology,
Environmental Physiology, Advanced Biometry, Systemic Physiology of mammals, Applied
Ecology, Entrepreneurship and Research methodology and Scientific Writing Skills. In addition,
he participated and performed well in his final research work on ‘Assessment of the Effects of
Pesticides on Insect visitors, Growth and Pollination-related Attributes of Solanum aethiopicum
(Solanales: Solanaceae) in the Buea Municipality, South-west Cameroon.
Teaching him at the graduate level for this period, I found him as a hardworking and an
academically ambitious student. He has an inquisitive mind and a good sense of organization,
physically fit, unassuming, reliable and a tireless duty conscious person; qualities which are
indispensable for success in postgraduate studies. He interacts very well with colleagues, senior
and junior staff of the faculty.
In light of the foregoing, Kum Yanik Fuh is the candidate of choice and I strongly recommend
him with no reservation for admission into Any Master Program in Agricultural Science. I will
be happy to be of more assistance when the need arises.
