NOTE TO PARENTS
The following forms part of the 2023-2024 school policies and will be uploaded to the website soon.
1. Tuition
- Term 1 tuition MUST be paid in FULL before the student can start school on September 4, 2023.
- Payment plan can be arranged for terms 2 and 3 tuition. Outstanding balances for terms 2 and 3 will
attract an interest of 10% per month. This will also apply to payment plans in which payment is
overdue.
- Outstanding tuition from last school year must be paid before the student begins the new school year.
- Evidence of tuition payment MUST be sent to email address [email protected] only.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you pay tuition by online transfer, be sure to use ACH and not RTGS as the
receiving bank will deduct $190 from the tuition for receiving fee when RTGS is used. Should you wish to
use RTGS, you will have to add $190 to the amount transferring.
2. Booklist
- We highly recommend that books be purchased from the school as there is a high possibility that
some books may be changed due to availability issue in the market, among other factors.
3. Assessments
- Students will do the following internal assessments
Six-week tests – 2 per term
Semester exams – 2 per school year
- Students will do 1 major project per semester.
- Homework will be given on only 3 (three) days per week for kinder and prep students, with only 2
(two) homework on each of the three days. Practice work (which will not be graded) can be given
every day.
- Please note that homework forms a major part of the final marks so every effort must be made to
have your child/children submitting assignments/homework.
4. Communication
- All students are assigned a school email address which will be used as the official means of
communication between school and home, outside of WhatsApp. Parents should make every effort
to check the email address regularly for communication from school. The school will cease
communicating with parents via their personal email.
- Make sure to have your telephone number added to the class WhatsApp group as this group is the
fastest means of communication within the class. Make sure that your child’s telephone number is
also added.
- Make every effort to build a close home-school relationship with your child’s teachers as this will
contribute positively to his or her academic performance.
5. School events/functions
- Parents are encouraged to actively participate in ALL school events/functions. You are encouraged
to set aside money on a monthly basis to be used to offset these events/functions. The school is
willing to facilitate a saving scheme for parents/students.
- Students’ participation in school events/functions will form a part of their evaluation/assessment.
6. Teacher Evaluation
- Parents and students will be asked to participate in the evaluation of teachers twice per year. When
called upon to do so, your fair and frank responses will be required. This will assist the school in
providing the best outcome for all students.
