ABOUT THE GAME
◆ Leg Cricket is a form of cricket played between two
teams of 11 players on a circular ground with a radius
between 80 and 120 feet
◆ Leg Cricket involves using legs rather than a bat to
propel the ball . The baller rolls the ball along the ground
under arm .
◆ The legsman has to kick the ball to score runs . A
legsman can score four or six runs by kicking the ball out
of boundary line

◆ Leg Cricket is played between two teams of 11 players. It is
played on a circular ground . The pitch is 8 feet wide and 42 to
48 feet long ( depending upon the age group and category of
the players )
◆ The distance in stumps is 12 inches ( 1 Foot )
◆ Leg Cricket is a sport where Cricket meets Football . It is a
recreational game . It is mainly played in india .

Rules of the
game
1. In Cricket , a batsman uses a bat but in leg cricket , a legsman
uses one leg instead of bat .
2. He has to let the umpire know before hand which leg (right
or left ) he will be using
3. In Cricket ,there are field restrictions , but in leg cricket there
are no field restrictions . A Bowler bowls underarm in leg
cricket

4. It is played between 2 teams of 11 players each . when one side is legging
(batting) another team will be bowling and fielding .
5. The bowler rolls down the football sized ball using under arm action and the
legsman needs to kick the ball to score single , double and triple runs by running
across the pitch .
6.To score a four or six legsman needs to kick ball out of the boundary line just
like in cricket .
7. A legsman is declared out if he touches the ball twice or kicks with the wrong
leg , is caught runout or hit wicket as in cricket
Selection
Process
◆ The registration process is quite simple .
◆ After the registration , the players will get to show his talent in the
trails .
◆ After getting selected the player is enrolled for selection camp
◆ Players selected on the basis of performance will get opportunity
to represent their state at nation level.
◆ Top performers will get chance to get training from coaches of
international standards and to win sponsorships
◆ The talent and determination of the
player will take him places .
◆ There is a team of selectors who have
expertise in finding the right gem in the
mentors field of Leg Cricket.
