NOTIFICATION FOR

JOINT DAKSHANA SELECTION TEST (JDST) 2025


JDST Exam dates:
For Govt./Aided Schools: Students can check the JDST exam date after October 16, 2024 by Dakshana Registration Number or Dakshana Roll Number at
https://dakshana.org/jdstinvitation.php
For JNVs: The JDST 2024 is scheduled on December 15, 2024.
For EMRS: The JDST 2024 is scheduled on January 19, 2025.

Selection Process for the JDST 2025: For Students studying in Govt./Aided schools (Not for JNV/EMRS school students)

Step 1: Check the eligibility* at apply.scholarship.dakshana.org and fill out the application form.
Step 2: Shortlisting will be done based on the cutoff mentioned in the application form.
Step 3: After 1st round of shortlisting, Fill out the Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA) by November 25, 2024.
Step 4: After filling out the application form, invited students can appear for mock tests. Mock tests will familiarize students with the interface.
Step 5: Invited students with Admit Cards to appear for JDST 2025. Students can check the JDST exam date by Dakshana Registration Number or
Dakshana Roll Number at https://dakshana.org/jdstinvitation.php
Step 6: After the 2nd round of shortlisting (based on JDST 2025 exam preformance), Appear for the Interview & get the Documents Verified.
Step 7: Students finally selected after the interview round will be offered a Dakshana One-year Scholarship.

*Eligibility: Must meet all the below mentioned 3 criterias to apply for the scholarship:
i. School: Currently studying in Class 12 Science at a Govt/Aided school (Academic Year 2024-25). Note: Students should have appeared in their class
XII board exam by May 2025.
ii. Marks cut-off: Aggregate marks of Maths & Science in Class 10 should be same/more than below marks for the respective categories:
For Engineering (Male): GEN: 85%, EWS/OBC: 80%, SC: 70%, ST: 65%, PD: 55%
For Engineering (Female): GEN: 80%, EWS/OBC: 75%, SC: 65%, ST: 60%, PD: 50%
For Medical: GEN: 80%, EWS/OBC: 75%, SC: 65%, ST: 60%, PD: 50%
iii. Income: Annual Family Income to be less than 2 lakhs.

Step 1: Students will be invited for the JDST 2025 based on Class 12 Term 1 results. The invitation list will be released by November 05, 2024.
Step 2: Invited students must fill the complete Scholar Application Form by November 25, 2024.
Step 3: After filling out the application form, invited students can appear for mock tests. Mock tests will familiarize students with the interface.
Step 4: Invited students with Admit Cards to appear for JDST 2025 (in online mode at the assigned test center) with their mobile phones on December
15, 2024.
Step 5: After the 2nd round of shortlisting (based on JDST 2025 exam preformance), Appear for the Interview & get the Documents Verified.
Step 6: Students finally selected after the interview round will be offered a Dakshana One-year Scholarship.

Selection Process for the JDST 2025: For EMRS students


Step 1: Students will be invited for the JDST 2025 based on Class 12 Term 1 results. The invitation list will be released by December 20, 2024.
Step 2: Invited students must fill the complete Scholar Application Form by January 10, 2024.
Step 3: After filling out the application form, invited students can appear for mock tests. Mock tests will familiarize students with the interface.
Step 4: Invited students with Admit Cards to appear for JDST 2024 at test centers on January 19, 2024.
Step 5: After the 2nd round of shortlisting (based on JDST 2025 exam preformance), Appear for the Interview & get the Documents Verified.
Step 6: Students finally selected after the interview round will be offered a Dakshana One-year Scholarship.

Filling of the Scholar application form:

To appear for the Mock test & JDST 2025, invited students must fill out and submit the scholar application form at https://scholarship.dakshana.org/ . Read
the instruction document before filling out the form.

All online tests will be conducted through the Dakshana Scholarship Test Android Mobile App. Download the mobile app from the Google Play Store.

and appear for the mock test.

Log in to the mobile app & appaear for the mock test which can be accessed only after submitting Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA)

Mock Test & JDST 2025 Format:

The duration of each of the tests will be 3-hrs. The test will consist of MCQ format questions in each of the following sections:
Section 1: Logical Reasoning | Section 2: Mathematics/Biology | Section 3: Physics | Section 4: Chemistry
Each right answer is awarded 5 marks, and 2 marks is deducted for every wrong answer. Engineering Aspirants to attempt Mathematics and Medical
aspirants to attempt Biology. A candidate is required to attain positive marks in each subject.

UNFAIR MEANS PRACTICES AND BREACH OF EXAMINATION RULES

I. Definition: Unfair Means practice is an activity that allows a candidate to gain an unfair advantage over other candidates.
It includes, but is not limited to:

a) In the examination hall, only the following items are allowed:


I. Pen and admit card.
II. For online exams: One mobile phone or one tablet.
III. For offline exams: A photograph.

All other items will be considered unauthorized (UFM).

b) Breaching examination rules or any direction issued by Dakshana in connection with JDST examination from time to time
c) Assisting other candidates to engage in malpractices, giving or receiving assistance of any kind directly or indirectly or attempting to
do so
d) Receiving assistance of any kind directly or indirectly from any person (friends/parents/invigilator etc.) in question solving.
e) The Dakshana scholarship is intended for students who are committed to working hard and excelling in the JEE/NEET exams. If you are
prepared to put in the effort and demonstrate such dedication, we encourage you to apply. However, if you are relying on luck through
guessing or cheating, we advise against applying for this scholarship.

II. Punishment for using unfair Means practices

During the course of, before, or after the examination if a candidate indulges in any of the above or similar practices, he/she shall be
deemed to have used unfair practices and booked under the UNFAIR MEANS (U.F.M.) case. The candidate may be debarred for dakshana or
any other action as deemed fit.

III. Cancellation of Result

The result of JDST 2025 of the candidate(s) who indulge in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared.
