INTRODUCTION
Flexibility and mobility are two essential components of
overall physical fitness that are often overlooked, yet they are
crucial for maintaining optimal health and well-being. Flexibility
DEFINITIONS refers to the range of motion in a joint or group of joints, allowing
for smooth and controlled movement. Mobility, on the other hand,
refers to the ability to move freely and easily through a range of
motion, often involving multiple joints. Both flexibility and mobility
BENEFITS OF are important because they enable us to perform daily activities with
ease, reduce our risk of injury, and improve our overall quality of
FLEXIBILITY life.
Flexibility exercises, such as stretching, can help increase our
BENEFITS OF range of motion, making it easier to perform daily tasks and
reducing the risk of injury. For example, having flexible hips and
MOBILITY knees can make it easier to walk, run, or play sports. Mobility
exercises, such as yoga or Pilates, can improve our ability to move
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE efficiently and effectively, reducing stiffness and improving posture.
