Brief Description

Introduction
In the past years, organizing the travel schedules of the public transportation service
are manually displayed in the rural terminal areas especially here in Eastern Samar before
the Eastern Samar Transport Service Cooperative (ESTRANCO) was created. With this, the
researchers aim to develop a Travel Scheduling System, a comprehensive platform
designed to enhance the overall travel experience for both passengers and drivers while
streamlining administrative processes. This system supports advanced technology to
optimize scheduling, communication, and coordination in the transportation area.
Addtionally, In the operational planning process of public transport, timetable
synchronization is an important issue to reduce transfer waiting time and improve service
connectivity. Minimizing waiting times can improve customer satisfaction, which in turn leads
to increases in ridership and revenues (Shang, 2019)

Rationale
Manual scheduling of transport vehicles can lead to several challenges and
problems, which can impact operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall
business performance. Manual scheduling is time-consuming and prone to errors. It often
requires significant human effort to plan routes and allocate resources, leading to
inefficiencies in the overall process. Inaccurate schedules, delays, and communication
issues can result in dissatisfied customers. This can lead to a negative impact on the
reputation of the transportation service provider. Addressing these gaps and lapses requires
a combination of robust technology, continuous training, effective communication channels,
and contingency planning. Regular updates and improvements to the scheduling system
based on user feedback and enhance the overall efficiency of the transportation service.

Objectives:
1. To create a scheduling system that is adaptable to changing circumstances, allowing
for efficient adjustments in response to unexpected events, cancellations, or
additions.
2. To design an intuitive and user-friendly interface for both administrators and end-
users, promoting ease of use and reducing the likelihood of errors in scheduling.
3. To establish a feedback loop for ongoing improvement, incorporating user feedback,
technological advancements, and industry best practices to enhance the system's
performance.
4. To prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely arrivals, clear communication,
and a seamless travel experience for passengers using the travel scheduling system.
5. To display the on-going traffic of the transport vehicle services.

Introduction
In times gone by, cemeteries have primarily mapped out information using paper
records. A lot of managers keep big, outdated logbooks. Record journals, typically in the
form of binder books, are used by other managers. These specially made journals have
labels and spaces to fill in information. Enhanced Geographic Information System (GIS)
Based Cemetery Mapping integrates information from spreadsheets, logbooks, and maps
into one powerful database. Cemetery mapping also includes interactive digital maps with
icons and images that designate important cemetery features.
In addition, cemetery mapping allows for the identification of available burial plots
and the efficient allocation of space. It helps cemetery administrators and caretakers
effectively manage the cemetery's resources and plan for future expansion if needed
(Plotbox, 2023).

Rationale
Cemetery paper records can't be trusted. They are easily broken or misplaced. In the
event that something occurs to the books, it is crucial to have a fallback strategy, such as
digitizing the records. Enhanced Geographic Information System (GIS) Cemetery Mapping
and record systwm allow for updates without running out of rooms, unlike paper records. It
can also be a useful backup for paper records. Most importantly, you must know which plots
can be sold. Without detailed maps and records, cemetery staff can't do their jobs well. For
this reason, cemetery mapping is an important part of preserving and managing a cemetery.

Objectives:
1. To show support various data formats, including GIS data, burial records, and
photographs, ensuring seamless integration and data management.
2. To digitally document and manage the spatial data of burial plots, graves,
infrastructure, and other features within the cemetery.
3. To store information in the database.
4. To easily identify the burial plots where the late relatives are resting.
5. To improve accessibility to cemetery records and information for cemetery staff,
visitors, and genealogists.
6. Facilitate emergency response efforts by providing accurate location data in cases of
disasters, accidents, or other emergencies within the cemetery.
7. Enhance community engagement and public outreach by providing interactive maps
and information about cemetery services.
