Remote Interns
Training offered:
Training workshops on how to conduct 24-hour dietary recall
interview
Training workshops on how to code dietary data
Hands-on learning opportunities:
Work closely with research staff and learn how psychological
research related to eating behavior is conducted
Develop knowledge of research designs including experimental
and clinical research studies
For highly motivated students, opportunities to join lab
meetings and journal clubs to discuss psychological research on
eating disorders
Responsibilities:
Conduct telephone interviews with adult participants
Process dietary data
Other research duties related to data collection and processing
**Interns are required to work remotely
for a minimum of 12 hours per week**
Intern selection:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
Prior lab experience is an advantage
Upon completion of the internship, interns will receive a certificate signed
by Dr. Wai Sze Chan, indicating the completion of a research internship at SLASH Lab.
