ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. TITLE OF ACTIVITY: GIVING OF TOKENS TO THE COOPERATING SCHOOLS
OF TEACHING INTERNSHIP ACTIVITY, AY 2023-2024
II. DATE: September 27, 2024
III. RATIONALE:
Pre-Service Training of the Teacher Education Program means education of teachers before they
enter into the service as teacher. During the period of Teacher Education Program, teaching practice
goes side by side, while they are getting knowledge about educational theories. Undeniably, it is
important for teacher educators to learn the methodology of how to get in touch with core qualities of a
teacher which affords sample training and/or field exposure for our student-teachers. From here, our
student-teachers can ably experience actual teaching from lesson planning to demonstration teaching.
This was made possible with our pre-service teaching internship which allow the space where a
teacher’s skills and personality could be developed, honing someone who is introspective and capable
of all the rudiments in teaching profession. This academic endeavor was made possible with our
affiliation with the identified cooperating schools of Department of Education, wherein Supervisors,
School Heads, and Teachers in this agency were asked to carry out actual training of our would-be
teachers.
Indeed, with the numerous supports and favor they extended to us in these teaching internship
phase, all of our cooperating schools deserve to receive token of gratitude. Thus, this activity design.
IV. OBJECTIVES:
This activity aims to establish the following:
1. Provide token(s) to the cooperating schools as our deep gratitude in supervising our practice
teachers.
2. Develop the capacity to extend resources of schools by means of improvisation of
instructional facilities.
