UPPER AGE LIMIT

65 years (as on 01/09/2024), relaxable up to 70 years.

TENURE

▪ The engagement is purely on Temporary basis for a period of One Year and payable on
hourly basis. Subsequent renewals will be limited to a period of maximum 3 years,
subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of Management.

▪ There will be notice period of one month, on either side, for discontinuing the part
time engagement.

WORKING HOURS

▪ The working hours will be as per the duty Schedule/Roster decided by Chief Medical
Services (to a maximum of 06 hours in a day)

REMUNERATION

Call duty charges as per Company Rules- Based upon number of attended call duty
hours (limited to Rs. 15000/- per month) to PTMC Specialist (Gynecologist, Pediatrician,
Surgeon)

CONVEYANCE CHARGES
▪ In case of local travel, (up to 30 KMs one-way), conveyance charges may be given on
actual basis, with the upper ceiling of Rs. 4500/- per month and beyond 30 KMs one-
way, with an upper ceiling of Rs.6000/- per month on case to case basis.

▪ Payment towards Remuneration and Conveyance will be against submission of invoice


as independent professional for rendering the services.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

▪ Candidates applying for the above posts shall have all their Degrees
(MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/DGO/D.M.R.D/PG Diploma/ Diploma in Ophthalmology)
recognized by the Medical Council of India.

▪ Candidates applying for the above posts must register all their Degrees with Medical
Council of India/State Medical Council.

SELECTION PROCESS

Selection process will be through interview of eligible candidates. Candidates called for
interview will not be paid any TA/DA. The date, time and venue of personal interview will
be intimated separately.

MEDICAL FITNESS:

The Applicant should have a sound health. The appointment shall be subject to meeting
the good health standards. The selected candidate will have to produce medical fitness
certificate from a registered medical practitioner, at the time of joining.

1. DOB Proof- SSC/ Intermediate Certificate
2. MBBS and MD/MS/DNB/DGO/D.M.R.D/PG Diploma/ Diploma in Ophthalmology
Certificates and Mark sheets.
3. Registration Certificate for MBBS and MD/MS/DNB/DGO/D.M.R.D/PG Diploma/
Diploma in Ophthalmology Certificate issued by Medical Council of India or by a
State Medical Council.
4. Proof of Experience (if applicable) - Preferably an Experience Certificate on letter
head from an Organization/Hospital issued by a Competent Authority.
5. No Objection Certificate: Persons employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./ Public Sector
Undertakings/ Autonomous bodies should apply through Proper Channel. However,
in the event of difficulty, they may send the application directly and produce the No
Objection Certificate at the time of interview.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

▪ Late / incomplete applications will not be considered and no correspondence on this will
be entertained.
▪ BHEL reserves the right to reschedule/cancel/suspend/terminate the process without
assigning any reasons and alter the terms and conditions at any time due to any
exigency. The decision of the Management will be final and no appeal will be
entertained.
▪ The candidates should ensure while applying that they fulfill the essential eligibility
criteria and other requirements prescribed for the above position and that the particulars
furnished by them are correct in all respects. In case, it is detected at any stage that the
candidates do not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria and /or does not comply with other
requirements and /or he/she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has
suppressed any relevant information / material fact(s), his / her candidature is liable to
be rejected. If any of the above shortcomings is/are detected, even after appointment,
his/her services are liable for suitable action including termination and prosecution.
▪ Candidates retired from BHEL under ‘Pre-Mature Retirement Scheme’ will be governed
by the Pre-Mature Retirement policy of BHEL.
▪ No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates not selected for Interview /
Engagement as PTMC.
▪ Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this
advertisement and /or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in
Hyderabad and Courts/Tribunals/Forums (Jurisdiction Courts) at Hyderabad only shall
have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause / dispute.
▪ Candidate who is unable to produce relevant documents in proof of qualification and
experience will be disqualified. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
