 INTRODUCTION
Bachelor of Business Administration or BBA, is an undergraduate course in Management, that
future management professional can pursue after Class 12. The programme essentially
teaches the basics of business administration to be taught in detail in Master of Business
Administration or MBA/PGDM.
Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelors in Business Studies (BBS), Bachelors in
Management Studies (BMS), Bachelors in Business Management (BBM), and Bachelors in
Business Economics (BBE) are among the most common UG programmes in Management
offered in India.
Some of the most popular colleges that offer these courses include Amity International
Business School, Noida; Shri Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai;
Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi; and Symbiosis Centre for Management
Studies, Pune, Christ University, Bangalore, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Any candidate who has cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized education board or
university is eligible for BBA. While most of the universities/colleges offer admission on the
basis of entrance exam only, some conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI).
While, some give admission on merit basis (marks obtained by the student in Class 12).
