Row 1: ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hook, turn

Cut yarn and sew in the ends.

SIDE STRAP #1
This will be a long strap one side with buds and leaves and the other a chain and the center
attached to FOREHEAD BAND

With color 103


(Ch 2, work a puff in the second ch from hook, ch 2, sl st) in same st, *ch 8, sl st in 6th ch from
hook, ch 12, sl st in 6th ch from hook**, REPEAT from * 4 more times then, ch 12, sc in Row 1 of
FOREHEAD BAND, ch 80 then REPEAT from *to ** 1 time then, ch 4, (in ch 2, work a puff in the
second ch from hook, ch 2, sl st) in same st then, sl st in next 85 sts and sl st back into the edge
of FOREHEAD BAND.
Cut yarn and sew in ends.

REPEAT for the OPPOSITE side of FOREHEAD BAND.

SIDE STRAP #2
This will be a side draping leaf chain attached to a st of the ch 80 strap.
With color 103
Starting at the edge of the FOREHEAD BAND count in 20 sts and attach yarn, *ch 12, sl st in the
6th ch from hook, ch 8, sl st in the 6th ch from hook**, REPEAT from * 3 more times.
Now you will be sl st onto the ch 80 of SIDE STRAP #1. From the edge of the FOREHEAD BAND
count 10 sts down the ch 80 strap and sl st. then REPEAT from *to ** 2 more times then ch 6,
work a puff in 2nd ch from hook, ch 2 and sl st in same st.
Cut yarn and sew in the ends.
REPEAT for the OPPOSITE side of FOREHEAD BAND.

ROSEBUDS
The rose buds are a puff st worked col. 51 and col. 45
Attach yarn into the st and (ch 2, in st work a puff, ch 2 and sl st) into same st.
Cut yarn, tie both ends in a knot and sew in the ends.

Rosebud placements

Forehead Band
With col. 51 starting at the top edge, count 2 sts on the top edge of the FOREHEAD BAND and
place a bud in 2nd st on both sides.

With col. 51 starting at the bottom edge, count 20 sts on the bottom edge of FOREHEAD BAND
and place a bud in the 20th st on both sides

With col. 45 starting at the top edge, count 14 sts on the top edge of the FOREHEAD BAND and
place a bud in 14th st on both sides.

Side Strap #1: with col. 45 work rose buds in between the 2 leaves, skipping a set of leaves in
between bud placement and ending with a total of 3 buds on both sides.

With col. 51 on the ch 80 strap at the bottom work a bud in between leaves on both sides and
ending with 2 buds.

Side Strap #2: with col. 45 work rose buds in between each of the 2 leaves on both sides and
ending with 4 buds.

FLOWER CHAIN
Work in color 51
This strap will create a side drape on the FOREHEAD BAND. Starting at the edge of the
FOREHEAD BAND count in 19 sts and attach yarn, attach yarn and *ch 6, sl st in 3rd ch from
hook, REPEAT from * 13 more times then, sl st in st in 11th st on ch 80 strap, REPEAT from * 4
more times.
Cut yarn and sew in the ends.
REPEAT for the opposite side

LARGER FLOWER
Make 4
With col. 103 Ch 5, join in a loop with a sl st in the 5th ch from hook.

Now change to color 51.


Round 1: ch 6(counts as dc and ch 3), (dc, ch 3)4 times total, sl st in ch 3 of ch 6.
(5 ch 3 spaces)
Round 2: sl st into 1st ch 3 space in it work (ch 2, 4 dc, ch 2, sl st), *sl st into next ch 3 space in it
work (ch 2, 4 dc, ch 2, sl st)**, REPEAT from * around ending last repeat at**
(5 petals)
Now you will change to color 45.
For Round 3 you will be working in front of Round 2 petals and sl st into center space of 2 petals.
Round 3: *(ch 4, move across next petal, sl st in space between), REPEAT from *around to end
then, sl st in ch 1 of ch 4
Round 4: sl st into 1st ch 4 space, *in it work (ch 2, 5 dc, ch 2, sl st**), sl st into next ch 3 space,
REPEAT from * around ending last repeat at **.
(5 petals)
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing on the FOREHEAD BAND.

Larger Flower placements

Place 2 flowers near the edge on both sides then two flowers evenly in the middle.

SMALLER FLOWERS
Make 9 in col. 45 and make 3 in col. 51
Ch 5, join in a loop with a sl st in the 5th ch from hook.

Round 1: *(ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3 sl st into loop)REPEAT from * 4 times more


(5 petals)
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing on.

SMALLER FLOWER PLACEMENT


Reference photos above
1. Place one of each flower in outer sections between LARGER FLOWERS.
2. Place 2 of the darker pink flower (color 45) and light pink flower (color 51) in center
section between LARGER FLOWERS
3. Place 2 darker pink flower (color 45) in place of choosing on the bottom of the ch 80
strap.
4. Sew a darker pink flower (color 45) on both the longer straps with buds and leaves
toward the bottom, in place of choosing to hold them in place together. This will create a
beautiful drape effect.
5. Place 1 flower over the ch 80 strap where two 2 side straps meet. REPEAT for the
opposite side.

Make 16 In col. 103
Ch 5
Row 1: sl st in 2nd ch from hook, in next ch work (hdc, dc), in next ch work (dc, hdc), sl st in last
ch, ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, turn to the opposite side of ch, sl st in 1st ch, in next ch work
(hdc, dc), in next ch work (dc, hdc), sl st in last st.
Cut a long tail, and sew in 1 strand leaving the second strand for sewing onto FOREHEAD BAND.

LEAF PLACEMENT

Start by sewing 7 sets of leaves together in the shape of a v.

Sew 3 sets on top of the FOREHEAD BAND 1 in between each section between larger flowers, 2
sets on the bottom in the outer sections between larger flowers, one set on the outer tip of each
edge and one leaf in the center section under the larger flowers.
