Sub: Engagement as ‘Job Trainee Apprentice’ under The Apprenticeship Act 1961 (as amended)
Dear Abhishek,
This has reference to our selection process for Job Trainee Apprentice (JTA) at Tata Motors Passenger vehicle
Ltd., TMPV,Chikhali, Pune plant wherein you have been found eligible for the said training program. CVBU
We are pleased to inform you that you are selected for Job Trainee Apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961
on the terms and conditions given here in below:
1. Your training with us will be for a period of One year From Your Joining date 24-Oct-2024 as Apprentice
Trainee in Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Ltd., TMPV, Chikhali Pune plant. Your term of training shall
automatically stand terminated after completion of 1 years from the date of commencement of your
training and no further notice in that connection will be required to be given by the Company.
2. Your consolidated stipend will be Rs. 15920/- per month and shall be payable as under:
(a) In case Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) is applicable:
As per the directives of the Government of India (GoI); Ministry of Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will be directly transferring the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) amount in
your account (the DBT amount will be a maximum of up to Rs. 1,500/- i.e. 25% of the prescribed
stipend of Rs. 15920/- per month).
You will thus be paid the monthly stipend in two parts, as under:
Part 1: Rs. 14420/- by the Company on or before 10th of every month to be credited through the
Government portal;
Part 2: Rs. 1500/- by the MSDE under DBT between 6 - 10 working days from the date the Part 1
stipend is credited.
(b) In case DBT is not applicable: Full stipend will be paid by the Company.
3. You will have to open a savings account either in HDFC or ICICI bank or any other banks having core
banking facility if not already opened, wherein the stipend can be credited. Please note that linking of
Aadhaar number is mandatory to receiving the DBT amount.

4. As per the Company policy with respect to the apprenticeship training, you will be required to come in
shifts.
5. With regard to benefits like insurance, leaves, canteen facilities and transportation, you will be
governed by the policies / guidelines of the Company as may be applicable to respective locations, that
are in force for the time being and as they may be amended from time to time. Such benefits shall be
solely at the discretion of the Company.
6. During your training with the Company, you shall not sign any apprenticeship contract with any other
company.
7. You will, at all times, maintain complete secrecy about Company’s business affairs, technology etc. and
would not disclose such information to outsiders.
8. You are required to keep and render a faithful account of all assets of the Company entrusted to you
during your training.
9. The Tata Code of Conduct would be binding on you, a copy of which has been made available to you.
You shall also be bound by any other rules and regulations formulated by the Company from time to
time pertaining to matters of conduct, discipline and safety.
10. You shall at all times comply with the duties and responsibilities of a trainee. Any deviations therefrom
will constitute an act of misconduct or indiscipline.
11. The terms and conditions of your training including the payment of stipend will be governed by the
Apprenticeship Act, 1961 or any other applicable laws.
12. You shall be bound to attend and learn the subject field conscientiously and diligently. You shall also
attend practical and instructional classes regularly.
13. You shall maintain a record of your work during the period of your apprenticeship training in a proforma
approved by the Apprenticeship Adviser.
14. Your apprenticeship training shall be terminated forthwith without any compensation to you:
a. If you secure gainful employment;
b. If you are unable to continue training on the medical grounds.
15. Your training may be terminated in case of acts of misconduct committed by you as per the Company
policy with respect to the Apprenticeship Training.
16. In the event you fail to complete the apprenticeship training, you shall be liable to refund to the
Company as cost of training, an amount as may be determined by the Apprenticeship Advisor.
17. At the time of joining the training, please bring with you all relevant certificates, including qualification
certificates, mark sheets in original and two copies of your recent passport size photograph.

18. If any of the Certificates / testimonials submitted by you are found to be fake at the time of joining or
at any stage in future during the training, your training will be liable to be terminated forthwith.
19. In case of any inconsistency or conflict between these terms & conditions and the Apprenticeship Act,
1961, the provisions of the said Act shall prevail.
