Dear Tahmina,

Spar Renfrew

Important information about your Smart Pension account

We understand payments into your workplace pension have stopped. However, your money stays invested with
us, helping it to grow to build a better retirement.

The most important thing you need to know about your pension is that it belongs to you - no matter who paid
into it or set it up. AII your money will stay in your Smart Pension account.

The current value of your pension savings is £182.85 as at 25 October 2024.

Stay in control of your pension

The easiest way to stay in control of your pension is by signing into your Smart Pension account at
smartpension.co.uk/sign-in. Get help signing in at smrt.pe/how-to-sign-in.

Here you can check your pension balance, charges and investment options.

While you’re there, please update your email address to a personal one so we can keep in touch with you. Sign in,
click on the Menu in the top right corner, select Account, choose Profile and add your personal email address.

You can also sign up for Smart Rewards, helping you save up to £600 a year.* Sign in, click Menu in the top right
corner, select Extra services, choose Smart Rewards and follow the instructions.

Your options

You normally can't take your pension savings until you're 55, but you have the following options now:

You can make a one-off payment into your Smart Pension

You can leave your money in your Smart Pension account
You can bring other pensions together in your Smart Pension account or you can transfer your money to
another provider.

You can top up your pension

You get 'tax relief' when you pay into your pension, meaning the Government will pay a little extra on top of what
you do.

Registered address: Smart Pension Ltd, 136 George Street, London, W1H 5LD
Company registration number: 9026697
You can top up your pension balance by making a one-off payment into your pension. Visit smrt.pe/one-off and
follow the instructions under section 2 to pay directly from your bank account.

If you’re not currently working, you can still pay up to £3,600 (gross) a year into a pension and receive the
government bonus of tax relief.

Your savings stay invested

If you choose to stay with Smart Pension or take no action, your money will remain invested for your future in your
Smart Pension account.

Each year we’ll send you your annual pension statement so you can see how much you’ve saved, but you can
check your pension balance in your Smart Pension account whenever you like.

Your pension savings will continue to be invested as before, so the value of your savings could go down as well as
up. You can still choose how your money is invested, just sign in and select the Investments tile.

Like with any pension, charges will continue to be deducted from your pension savings. If these charges are greater
than any investment growth on your pension savings, the value will go down.

You can find any lost pensions and combine them

You can use our online tool to find any lost pensions and then decide whether to combine them into your Smart
Pension account. In your Smart Pension account, click on the Combine pensions tile to get started.

Be scam smart

Your pension savings are really important for your future, so it pays to be aware of scams. Learn how to spot the
signs and check who you're dealing with at smrt.pe/scam-smart.
