How to re-partition Galaxy Note and install Android 5.1.

I just wrote down the procedure I followed. Use this at your own risk.
Please take backup of ALL data you want from the phone. The internal storage of the phone will
be wiped in this procedure.

1) Put the phone to download mode by pressing The following buttons together. Volume
down+Power+Home
2) Prepare the PC.
a) Install the latest Samsung drivers and ODIN in PC

Use : SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe
b) Download the required version of pit file for repartitioning

Download : n7000 (16gb)_4,6,8,10,[Link]
Use : n7000 16gb variant - 6gb [Link]
c) Download the Stock Android 4.1.2 ROM according to the baseband version. The
downloaded zip file needs to be extracted. Select the tar.md5 file for flashing.

Use : N7000DDLSC_N7000ODDLSC_N7000DDLS6_HOME.tar.md5
3) Download and Run ODIN in the PC

Use : odin3 [Link]
4) Connect the Phone to the Computer using the data cable
5) Select ‘Repartition’ and select the PIT file
6) Select PDA and select the Stock Android ROM tar.md5 file.
7) Click on start and wait until finish.
8) Disconnect the phone from PC, and boot.
9) Access the Stock recovery by pressing Volume up+Power+Home and do a factory reset. This will
make sure the data partition is formatted.
10) Boot the phone and make sure everything is working fine. ​After the phone is booted you will get a
"Blank USB storage" message in the notification panel. Press on it and select format​.
11) The next steps are to root the phone and install a Custom Recovery. Download
[Link].md5 and keep it in the PC.

12) Put the phone to download mode by pressing the following buttons together. Volume
down+Power+Home again.
13) Open odin and select [Link].md5 in the PDA tab and flash it.
14) Download a kernel with an updated recovery file to the SD card.

15) Reboot to recovery by pressing Volume up+Power+Home buttons together and Select to install from
the zip file and install the Nightowl-cm12.1-20160215-n7000-kernel_only.zip file from the SD card.
16) Next step is to install the latest stable version of Android 5.1.1 available for your phone.
Download and copy the latest lollipop ROM and gapps files to the SD using your [Link] can copy
the files to the sdcard from your pc by going to mounts and storage- mount usb storage in the
recovery

17) Boot the phone to Custom Recovery again by pressing Volume up+Power+Home button together to
load the updated recovery.
18) Do a factory reset
19) Select to install from zip. Install the [Link] first and then
tk_gapps-[Link]
20) Reboot to start using the phone.
