MS. LOUELLA F. IGNACIO is a 21-year-old highly promising student with a diverse skill set.
Professionally, she excels in Microsoft Office applications, data analysis, graphic design,
copyrighting, and mathematical problem-solving. Her strong communication, adaptability, and
efficient time management skills make her an asset in any environment. With a pursuit of a
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa and a
solid educational background from De La Salle Santiago Zobel School and San Roque Catholic

MS. CATRINA YANSON is the eldest sister of her two siblings, A 21-year-old woman who
possesses a diverse set of skills, including computer proficiency, positive attributes, creativity,
patience, and effective collaboration. Her educational journey is marked by her current pursuit of
a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa,
which she began in September 2020. These skills and her commitment to education make her a

II. History
Meloscapes is a music recommendation app, that was born out of the creativity and determination
of our team which consists of college students. It all began when we noticed the challenges music
enthusiasts like us faced with generic recommendations. We decided to tackle this issue head-on.
Over the course of time, our team of young innovators worked tirelessly to develop a unique
solution. We chose to develop a cutting-edge machine learning algorithm that used user data to
create tailored playlists and music recommendations, assessing listening history, tastes, and even
mood.
As our team was not content with just the algorithm; we went a step further. We will design an
intuitive onboarding process that actively engages users from day one, seeking their input to refine
the recommendations. Our vision was to offer a highly personalized music experience that would
elevate user satisfaction and retention rates.
Today, Meloscapes stands as the dedication and handwork of our team, transforming the way users
experience music and setting new standards in the world of music recommendation apps.

The primary location for MeloTech will be situated in the vibrant business district of Alabang,
Muntinlupa City. To establish our presence, the owners have opted to lease a dedicated building
that will serve as our main office and operational hub. This strategic location offers excellent
accessibility and opportunities for collaboration while aligning with our vision to revolutionize
the music-streaming industry.
The Meloscapes management team consists of a group of driven and skilled professionals in the
field of Information Technology, all dedicated to ensuring the business's success. They have been
trained in software development, database management, cybersecurity, and business management,
by experienced IT mentors and entrepreneurial advisors. They also actively take part in
collaborative open-source projects, giving the team opportunities to work on real-world
challenges, contribute to the IT community, and gain practical experience while keeping their
skills sharp. Their focus is on delivering outstanding service and ensuring the highest levels of
system reliability
Ms. Louella Ignacio - In addition to system management and supervision during the launch
phase, She is responsible for coordinating with customer support to address user inquiries and
feedback promptly. She ensures the smooth operation of the application and excellent user
support.
Ms. Angel Keefe - In charge of online advertising strategies to promote the application. She
leads the marketing efforts to attract and engage users.
Ms. Catrina Yanson - Responsible for developing and introducing innovations to enhance the
application's features. She focuses on keeping the application fresh and competitive.
Ms. Angelica Cariño - Leads the efforts to improve the application's design whenever updates
or software changes are required. She ensures the app maintains a visually appealing and user-
friendly interface.

users (+29.01 percent). After the tenth consecutive increasing year, the indicator is estimated to
reach 6.63 million users and therefore a new peak in 2027. the number of users in the 'Music
Streaming' segment of the digital media market in the Philippines is forecasted to experience
steady growth between 2023 and 2027, with an estimated increase of 1.5 million users,
representing a growth of approximately 29.01 percent. This trend indicates a continued and
significant upward trajectory in the adoption of music streaming services, reaching a new peak of
6.63 million users in 2027. This suggests a strong and sustained interest in music streaming among
the population of the Philippines, aligning with the broader trend of increasing digital music
consumption in recent years. The growth in the number of music streaming users in the Philippines
provides valuable insights into the market dynamics that MeloScapes operates within, which can
inform their strategy, expansion plans, and overall approach to serving users in this growing
market.

44 agreeing, indicating a strong interest in trying MeloScapes. For the second question, 136 students
strongly agreed, and 51 agreed, expressing enthusiasm for listening to PLMUN Original songs and
podcasts on MeloScapes. In the third question, 142 students strongly agreed, and 49 agreed,
foreseeing MeloScapes as a great platform for discovering new songs. Regarding payment for
additional features, the fourth question received majority agreement, with 105 students agreeing. In
terms of user interface preference, the fifth question had 147 students strongly agreeing, and 50
agreeing, in favor of MeloScapes' minimalist and aesthetic design. For the sixth question, 146
students strongly agreed, and 47 agreed, wanting MeloScapes to be a safe space for sharing music.
The seventh question had overwhelming support, with 161 students strongly agreeing and 38
agreeing, accepting banner advertisements if MeloScapes remains free. In the eighth question, 151
students strongly agreed, and 42 agreed, expressing willingness to recommend MeloScapes to
promote PLMUN Original songs and Podcasts. For the ninth question, 144 students strongly agreed,
and 40 agreed, desiring a feature for interacting with others who share the same music taste. Lastly,
the tenth question had a majority, with 162 students strongly agreeing, and 33 agreeing, foreseeing
a great future for MeloScapes in the Music Platform category.

to MeloScapes, with 77.5% of respondents strongly agreeing and an additional 22% expressing
agreement. Only 0.5% disagreed, indicating widespread positive sentiment within this
demographic. These findings suggest that MeloScapes resonates well with BSIT students, offering
an excellent opportunity for targeted marketing and engagement strategies. The overwhelmingly
positive feedback positions MeloScapes as a well-received and promising platform within the
PLMUN BSIT student community, with potential for further growth and user satisfaction.
MeloTech ensures that MeloScapes is intended to appeal to a wide range of music enthusiasts. Our
primary audience consists of music lovers of all ages, ranging from teenagers to adults, who are
looking for tailored music recommendations and a better listening experience. This also appeals
to music enthusiasts who appreciate diversity and wish to find new and interesting sounds.
