RULES AND REGULATIONS
“RING OF FIRE” – SCRATCH OFF GAME NO. 949
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
“RING OF FIRE” tickets are governed by these Game Rules and Regulations and
the General Rules Governing Instant (Scratch-Off) Games (“Scratch-off General
Rules”), which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety. The Scratch-off
General Rules together with these Game Rules and Regulations govern all matter and
claims relating to Scratch-off Games including tickets, transactions, drawings, prizes
and prize claims. These Rules contain the sole and exclusive remedy for such claims.
“RING OF FIRE” tickets shall be made available for sale at the discretion of the
President of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation. The price of each ticket shall be Five Dollars
($5.00).
2. GAME SUMMARY
Each “RING OF FIRE” ticket consists of a scratch-off coated play area containing a
total of eighteen (18) Play Spots (fifteen (15) “Your Numbers” Play Spots and three (3)
“Winning Numbers” Play Spots) and fifteen (15) Prize Spots. The player determines if the
ticket is a winner by removing the scratch-off material from the play area. If the player
matches any of the “Your Numbers” Play Symbols to any of the “Winning Numbers” Play
Symbols, the player shall win the corresponding prize amount shown directly to the right of
that matching “Your Number” Play Symbol. If the player reveals a “HOT FLAME” symbol
in the “Your Numbers” play area, the player shall win the prize shown directly to the right of
that symbol instantly. If the player reveals a “2X FLAME” symbol in the “Your Numbers”
play area, the player shall win “DOUBLE” the prize shown directly to the right of that
symbol. If the player reveals a “RING OF FIRE” symbol in the “Your Numbers” play area,
the player shall win all fifteen (15) prizes instantly. A player may win up to fifteen (15)
times and up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) on each “RING OF FIRE”
ticket.
The game consists of approximately 3,960,000 tickets ordered. The approximate
number of winners and the value of the prizes, along with the approximate odds of winning
based on 3,960,000 tickets ordered, are listed below.
The determination of prize winners is subject to validation pursuant to the following
Prize Structure and as set forth in the Scratch-off General Rules, respectively.

3. GAME SYMBOLS – The Game Symbols for “RING OF FIRE” are set forth below.
The exact Game Symbols as set forth in these Game Rules and Regulations must
appear beneath the rub-off area on the front and/or back of the ticket.
a. Your Numbers Play Symbols: There are fifteen (15) “Your Numbers” Play
spots. The Symbols will be in black in positive with Captions in black ink in
positive as shown below.
b. Winning Number Play Symbols: There are three (3) Winning number Play
spots. The Symbols will be in black in positive with Captions in black ink in
positive as shown below.

c. Prize Symbols: There are fifteen (15) prize spots. The Symbols will be in black in
positive with Captions in black ink in positive as shown below:
d. Legends: The below Legends will be imaged in their respective play areas.
4. DETERMINATION OF “RING OF FIRE” PRIZE WINNERS
The determination of prize winners is subject to “Ticket Validation Requirements”
and “Claim Period” set forth in the Scratch-off General Rules, and as set forth below:
A. Each “RING OF FIRE” ticket consists of a scratch-off coated play area
containing a total of eighteen (18) Play Spots (fifteen (15) “Your Numbers” Play
Spots and three (3) “Winning Numbers” Play Spots) and fifteen (15) Prize Spots.
The player determines if the ticket is a winner by removing the scratch-off

directly to the right of that symbol. If the player reveals a “RING OF FIRE”
symbol in the “Your Numbers” play area, the player shall win all fifteen (15)
prizes instantly. A player may win up to fifteen (15) times and up to One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) on each “RING OF FIRE” ticket. The prizes
that may be awarded are as follows:
$5 = (five dollars) or
$10 = (ten dollars) or
$15 = (fifteen dollars) or
$20 = (twenty dollars) or
$50 = (fifty dollars) or
$100 = (one hundred dollars) or
$200 = (two hundred dollars) or
$500 = (five hundred dollars) or
$100,000 = (one hundred thousand dollars)

5. REORDER
If determined by the KLC’s President or her designee, and as set forth in the General
Rules, this game (KY-949) is subject to a full or partial reorder of tickets. The reorder
may consist of one of the prize structures set out below.

6. CLAIM PERIOD, CLAIMING PRIZES, DETERMINATION OF
PRIZEWINNERS, VALIDATIONS AND ALL OTHER MATTERS.
All other matters and claims relating to this Scratch-off Game, “RING OF FIRE”,
including but not limited to purchases, transactions, determination of prize winners,
validation, and prize claims, are governed by Kentucky law and the official Scratch-
off General Rules, incorporated herein by reference. These Rules contain the sole and
exclusive remedy for any and all claims.
