Throw and Go Game Relay
Objective:
The goal is for each team to pass the ball along their line while sitting, then
run to the end of the line after their throw, aiming to reach a designated spot
as quickly as possible.
Setup:
1. Teams: Divide participants into equal-sized teams ( 8 players per
group).
2. Formation:
o Each team sits in a straight line, facing each other, with players
sitting close together. For example, in a team of 8, every two
players face each other.
o Designate a starting line and a finish line that are 14-18
meters apart
3. Equipment: A ball
Basic Rules:
1. Starting the Relay:
o The first player in each team starts with the ball.
o On the signal (e.g., a whistle or shout), the player throws the ball
forward to the next teammate in line.
2. Catching and Passing:
o Players are facing each other; one player catches the ball while
the other throws it to the next teammate, continuing the pattern
down the line.
3. Running to the End:
o After throwing the ball, each player must run to the end of their
line (to the back of the row of seated players).
o This means that as they throw the ball, they quickly get up and
move to the end of the line.
4. Continuing the Relay:
o The next player in line now throws the ball forward to the next
teammate, repeating the process.
o This continues until all players have thrown the ball and run to
the end of the line.
5. Reaching the Finish Line:
o The relay is complete when all players have successfully
completed their turns and crossed the finish line.
Winning the Game:
The first team to have all its players pass the finish line wins the game.
Key Rules:
Catching the Ball: Players must successfully catch the ball before
throwing it to the next teammate.
Ball Retrieval: If the ball is dropped, players should pick it up quickly
and continue passing from that spot.
