DESCRIPTION Dulux Inspire Exterior Finish is quality acrylic based emulsion paint with advanced
Chroma Brite Technology that keeps your house looks fresh and new for a longer
period of time. It has durable paint film that provides resistance from damage
caused by water, algae and fungus, and peeling off. In compliance to SIRIM Eco
Label and Singapore Green Label.
USAGE Suitable for newly painted or previously painted exterior masonry surface such as
brickwork, plaster, cement, rendering and asbestos
BENEFITS Provides protection against fungus and algae growth.
Good alkali resistance, adhesion properties, and durability.

PERFORMANCE GUIDE
FILM PROPERTIES
Chemical Resistance Resistant to mild atmospheric fume attack and to the salts in new mortar,
rendering and similar surfaces.
Water Resistance Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal exterior
environments.
THEORECTICAL The spreading capacity of this product will vary considerably according to the
COVERAGE roughness and porosity of the surface. On smooth surfaces of average porosity 10

- 11 m /L.
PRODUCT DATA
COMPOSITION Pigment : Lightfast Non-Lead Pigments and Mineral Extenders.
(nominal) Binder : Acrylic Emulsion.
Solvent : Water.
VOLUME SOLIDS White 37 (nominal), other colours will vary.
APPLICATION
THINNING
Brush or Roller For sealing new or bare surfaces thin with up to 1 part of clean water to 10 parts of
paint (10%).
Conventional Spray For normal use thinning is usually not necessary.
Airless Spray Add up to 1 part of clean water to 3 parts of paint (30%).
Ready for use. Thinning is usually not required.
DRYING TIMES Single coat at standard thickness:
Touch Dry Dependant on temperature and humidity.
Recoat 2-3 hours.
CLEANING UP Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
PRE-APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering
material, dirt, grease or wax. Remove all loose or defective paint or powdery
residues by thorough brushing and scraping, using a stiff fiber brush and high
pressure water jet. Treat any areas affected mould, lichens, algae and moss with
Dulux Fungicidal Wash. Make good minor defects with a suitable exterior grade
Filler. Surfaces that remain powdery, friable or chalky after thorough preparation
should be sealed with one coat of an appropriate Primer (see below). It should not
be applied on areas where moisture reading (as measured by Protimeter) exceeds
17%. These wall should be left to dry further.

PRECAUTION

INFORMATION Store in a cool and shaded place.
Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed.
Keep away from the reach of children and away from food, drinks and animal
feed.
If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek
medical advice.
In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a
proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvent thinners or white spirits.
Wear eye/face protection.
Do not breathe vapour/spray.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
Do not empty into drains or watercourses.
Avoid release to environment. Refer to special instructions/safety data sheet.
Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic
environment.
Dispose of used container in compliance with local regulation.
Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to
dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet [sanding]/[flatting] should be used wherever
possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust
ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
Do not use empty container for storing food.
Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning.
