LOAD TEST PROCEDURE:
1. Set Up:
Connect the VFD to the motor and load equipment.
Ensure all safety precautions are in place.
2. Initial Test Run:
Start the VFD at no load and gradually increase the frequency to the rated value.
Monitor and record the motor current, voltage, and VFD output frequency.
Check for any abnormal noise or vibration.
3. Load Application:
Gradually apply load to the motor connected to the VFD.
Monitor and record motor current, voltage, and frequency at different load levels (e.g., 25%,
50%, 75%, 100%).
4. Full Load Test:
Operate the VFD at full load for a specified duration (e.g., 1 hour).
Record the VFD output frequency, motor current, and voltage.
Monitor VFD temperature and any alarms or faults.
5. Ramp-Down:
Gradually reduce the load and frequency.
Stop the VFD and allow it to cool down.
