Function Introduction

1. Music Playing: Support MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC,


WAV, AAC-LC, ACELP, Audible format.

(use video converter change the video to 160*128 format )

Data Transfer

Connect your device to the computer with the Micro USB cable

and the mp3 player screen will display the following information:
Choose connection:
Charge and transfer,
Charge and play.
Press the button “ ▲ ” and “ ▼ ” to choose the connection mode
to “Charge and transfer”, and click “ ” to confirm. Then mp3
player will display a removable disk as soon as the computer
recognize it .Then just drag files into the mp3 player.

Charging

1.Use USB cable connected to computer to charge.


(1). Plug one end of the provided micro USB cable into the USB
port of a computer.
(2). Plug the other end of the cable into the micro USB port on
your device.
(3). The device will be in charging automatically after you plug
the device into a computer. When the device is fully charged, the
player screen show “charged”. Then just disconnect the cable
from your device by pulling it straight outward.

2.Use charge devices to charge

Remark: The charger device used for the mp3 player must meet
following request:
Input: AC 110-240v 50/60Hz Max: 100mA
Output: DC5.0-5.5V 500mA-800mA

Power On and Off

(1).Long press(3s) the main powder key to turn on/off the player.
(2).If you do not operate the player in a few minutes, it will enter
stand-by mode. Press any one of the keys to wake up from stand-
by mode.
Note: The next time you turn back on the player, it will start from
the previous music.

Lock Screen

Push the “ ” up to lock the screen, and push the “ ” down to


unlock the screen.

Play Music

Power on to get access to its main screen; select the Music icon

on main screen. I twill display the following submenu:
- All songs — played in name order
- Artist — played in artist's name order
- Albums — played by folder name
- Genre — played by genre
- Playlists — three lists
- Album art —after viewing, press the “ ” button to go back
- Create Playlist

(1).Volume Adjustment
When the player is on the music playing screen, short press “ ▲ ”
and “ ▼ ” to adjust the volume “up” and “down”

(2).Play/Pause
When the player is playing on the music playing screen, short
press the “ ” to suspend the music, short press it continue to
play the music.

(3). Rewind/Forward
Use the button / to rewind/forward;
Hold the “ ” button to fast rewind, tap to the previous song;
Hold the “ ” button to fast forward, tap to the next song;

(4). Return
When the player is playing on the screen. Press the button “ ”
to return to the last menu, then press the button return to the main
interface.
(5). Play mode
When the player is on the music playing screen, long press “ ”,
It will display the following submenu:
-Play mode
-Sound setting
-Add to playlist
-Remove form playlist
-Sleep timer
-Delete
-Bookmarks

(6). Random play


There are 3 ways to randomly play your music:
A. Randomly play your music through “All songs”:

You can choose the song from "Music", when you enter the
submenu, there is a “All songs” option, click “All songs” then

you will find the item "Shuffle all" under " All songs ".

B. Randomly play your music through “Play mode”:


When the player is on the music playing screen, long press “ ”,
then click “play mode”, you will find the item "Shuffle" under
"Play mode".

C. Randomly play your music through "Setting"


You can also shuffle all your songs (internal card or external
card)under play mode by pressing the button "Setting" on main
screen. When "Shuffle" is on this situation, you can shuffle your
songs in two ways:
- Back to the main interface, and then choose "Music" or "Folder"
to shuffle your songs;
- Choose with the "Play music from.." under play mode of
"Setting", please note that the songs you shuffle are from "Music"
in this situation.
Note: The condition of shuffle in music playing screen are always
the same as it's in the "Setting".

(7). Repeat your songs


You can repeat your songs in 2 ways:

A: You can repeat your songs from the music playing screen by
pressing the button “Play key”>"Play mode">"Repeat"
B: you can also repeat by pressing "Setting">"Play
mode">"Repeat".

Bluetooth

Firstly, Select “Bluetooth” on the main menu interface. Secondly,


press “ ” to search for Bluetooth device. If this MP3 player
found the new Bluetooth device. The new device's name will
show up on the screen. Then you select the Bluetooth device
mode option and press the button “ ” to pairing.
When the MP3 player on the “device’s list” screen, press the
button “ ” to go back to the last menu, It will display the
following submenu:
-Device’s list
-Search device
-All music
-BT now playing
Just choose “ All Music” and choose which music you want to
listen and Press “ ” to play.
When the player is on the music playing screen, long press “ ”
to enter submenu, it will display:

-Repeat
-Shuffle
-Equalizer

FM Radio

On the main menu interface selected “Radio”, press “ ” to


enter “Radio” menu. It will display the following submenu:
- Presets— You can preset up to 30 radio station
-Manual tune
-Auto tune
-FM Recording Library
1. Manual tune and Auto tune
You can adjust the radio through "Manual tune" or “ Auto tune ”,
press the button “ ” and “ ” for rewind or forward search
one by one, and long press the button “ ” and “ ”for
searching it automatically. Then press the button “ ” to stop.
2. Set the FM radio
When the player is playing radio on the screen, long press the
“ ” button to view a related list as below:
-Start FM radio recording

-Save to preset
-Clear preset
-Auto tune
-Tuner Region
-FM recording library
3. Choose the option “ Star FM radio recording ” to save the radio
you want you to record, and you will find it in the "FM recording
library " option.

Please kindly note that you can only listen to radio station on this
player with the headphone(headset) plug in the device.

Recording

There are 2 ways for Recording:

1. Select "Record" from the "Main" screen. Press the button to


enter. The following functions are displayed: Start Voice
Recording, Recordings library, Record Format and Record
Settings.
- Select a format from MP3, WAV or ACT
- Click option "Start Voice Recording" to start your recording

- To pause or stop recording, press “ ”
- To save, press “ ” then select answer yes to save
- To play, go to "Recordings Library" and play it as music
2. There is a recoding button on the right side of the player, short
press the “ ” button to enter the recording interface.

E Book

Please note: Only "txt" format is supported for eBooks.


From main menu, press the button “ ” to enter E-book function.
Press the button “ ” and “ ” to turn the page down/up.
On the E-book interface, Long press “ ”, It will display the
following submenu:
-Play setting
-Delete E-book
-Bookmark select
-Delete bookmark
-Add bookmark
-Page select
Auto play: When the player on the e-book screen , Long press
“ ” to enter the “Play setting” to set the auto play time(0-10
seconds). Then return back to the e-book screen, short press “ ”
to automatically play files, and short press “ ” again to cancel

auto play.

Video

On the main menu interface selected “Video”, press “ ” to


enter “Video” menu.
Short press “ ” to play video
Short press the “ / ” to change the video playing.
Fast rewind/fast forward: long pressing the last-song/next-song
Playing/Pause: Tap the playing key
On video playing screen, long press “ ” , It will display the
following submenu:
-Brightness
-Repeat
-Delete video
-Create playlist
Back to menu: When the player on video playing screen, press
“ ” to return the last menu.
Note:
The product only supports 160*128 video, you may convert video
files to this format by the tools included in the device.

To use the "amvtransform" , which is included in the device.
Firstly, Install the program on your computer first, and then press

the icon to choose the file that you want to convert it on your

computer. Choose the icon to put the converted video in the


file on your player. Choose the icon to start convert, the
bottom will show the progress of converting , it will be ok until it
showed 100%.
Attention: You can only transfer the video with computer.

FAQs and Supports

1. To use the preset playlist


Press the “ ” button and then choose the option "Add to
playlist" for the song you want to operate. There are 3 items
prepared for you, including "Playlist on the go [1]", "Playlist on
the go [2]" and "Playlist on the go [3]", you can add the song to
any one of these three as you like.

2. Add bookmark for your audio book


(1).Add bookmark for your audio book while in audio playing
mode, tap the “ ” button to access to the submenu. From the
list that appears, choose "Bookmarks" with the option "Add
bookmark".
(2).Bookmarks are marked by the stopping time as "hh:mm:ss".
The next time this song is played, you press the
M >bookmarks>go to bookmark, and choose the bookmark, you
could go back to the point you marked last time.
(3).Maximum number of bookmarks supported by each audio file
is 10. Additional bookmarks will override the ones set previously.
(4).To find saved bookmarks, select "go to bookmark", found
under item "Bookmarks". Select "Delete bookmark" to delete it.

3. The device doesn't turn on
- Connect the player to your computer with USB cable to charging
- If the player still can’t be used after charging, please contact
with our customer service.

4. Terrible noise
- Check the earphone, if there have dust in the earphone there will
cause the noise.
- A damaged music file may cause serious noise. Try another song
to test.

5. No sound heard from earphone


- Please check whether the voice volume is setting up to 0.
- Please check if there is any problem about the headset
connecting.

6. Touch the buttons without any response

- Make sure the lock key have slid to “ ”. The device will not
any response if you locked the screen.
- Reset the player. There is a small round hole on the bottom of
the player, using something like toothpick or needle insert to the

round hole to reset the player.

7. The device is frozen


- If the device is frozen, turn it off and then restart
- If the device can’t turn off or restart, please reset it. There is a
small round hole on the bottom of the player, using something
like toothpick or needle insert to the round hole to reset the player.
- If the device can’t reset or it still can’t work after resetting.
Please try to refresh the device program:

To use the “Actions” . Firstly, connect the device to your


computer through USB cable first, then download the file “1.04
Update Tools” and “M01 Software updates” to your computer.
Install the program on your computer, and then untick this option
“FLASH Erase”. Click this “ ”button to choose the file name
“M01 Software updates”, then click “replace” to confirm, and

click “ ” to refresh the device. It might take 1-2 minutes to


refresh, after finishing, just restart the device.
