Announcement that Ceremony is about to Begin.
The Barasanan National High School Commencement Exercises are
about to begin. Let me remind you to turn your cellphones to silent
mode and be courteous around you by refraining from talking aloud.
During the presentation of graduates, we encourage you to express
your pride by applauding and cheering. We would like also to inform
the public that we provided waste cans for your convenience so please
do not litter your rubbishes. Let us maintain the cleanliness and
orderliness of our venue.
And before we officially start, we would like to give our outmost
gratitude to the working committees who give their very best and
effort and risk to make this commencement exercises possible.
Commencement – a word of French origin which means beginning.
Indeed, there is a good reason they call ceremonies, commencement
exercises. Graduation is not the end; it is the beginning.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today we mark an exceptional
day in our calendar as we celebrate the tireless journey of our
students. Welcome, one and all, to the 49th Graduation Exercises of
Barasanan National High School Year 2024 with the theme “Kabataang
Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas”
With so much cheer, let us laud the candidates in their Processional
March.
The Processional
Let us welcome the Graduating Class of Batch 2024 escorted by their
proud parents.
As a new practice in our Graduation Ceremony, the parents put the
Sablay to their children’s shoulder as a way of giving value and respect
to this selfsame object and taking pride to their graduating student.
In return, the students put the garland on their parents’ neck as it
symbolizes joy, celebration, victory, honor, and respect.
Let us also welcome the stakeholders in Education, our PTA Officials
headed by Mrs. Darlene Asenjo, Our SGC President Mr. Allan J. Onin,
Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Pael Huelar and DepEd Officials in
the person of our Division Representative, Dr. Eleanor M. Dagala,
Education Program Supervisor, in Araling Panlipunan. Let us also give a
glad hand to the pillars of this institution, the Barasanan National High
School Faculty and Staff headed by our beloved Principal II Mrs.
Petronila B. Lacurom, alongside our guest speaker for today, Mrs.
Hermilina Gaintano Balina
As we commence this significant occasion, let us honor the strength of
our nation by Singing of the Philippine National Anthem followed by the
Doxology, Singing of the Provincial Hymn, and Municipal Hymn by the
Grade 12 Academic Awrdees. May I request everyone to please stand.

To usher in this grand ceremony, may I invite Ma. Jenica M. Dolatre,

Thank you for a very welcoming message.
Now, we arrive at the highlight of our ceremony – the Presentation of
Candidates for Graduation. We invite Mrs. Faith Laurio and Mrs.
Triumph Faith Grace Felices, class advisers of Grade 12 HUMSS and
TVL, our School Principal II Ma’am Petronila B. Lacurom and our
Division Representative Dr. Eleanor M. Dagala Education Program
Supervisor in Araling Panlipunan for the Presentation,
Recommendation, Confirmation and Approval of candidates for
Graduation.

At this point in time, may I request Dr. Eleanor M. Dagala to receive
the Certificate of Appreciation for her time and service dedicated to
Barasanan National High School, and for that may I call on Ma’am
Petronila B. Lacurom, Principal II to award the said certificate.

At this juncture, our accomplished students will now receive their well –
deserved Diplomas. May I request our Division Representative Dr.
Eleanor M. Dagala, Barangay Captain Hon. Pael Huelar, our PTA
President Mrs. Darlene A. Asenjo, our honored guest Mrs. Hermilina
Gaintano Balina and Ma’am Petronila Lacurom, Principal II for the

message from the Secretary of Department of Education Vice President
Sara Z. Duterte. To read to us her message, may I call on our Division

Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Nicasio S. Frio, CESO VI of Schools
Division of Antique to be read to us by Mr. Egen Mark Samillano,
Teachers Legue President of Barasanan National High School. Let us all
give him a big hand.
Graduation Message of the SDS
Thank you, Sir, for reading to us the message of our Schools Division
Superintendent.
“If you have knowledge, let others light their candles with it.” Just
warm them with knowledge, don’t burn them with brilliance. At this
juncture, we are happy to have a special guest with us. And To
introduce to us our keynote speaker, we have Mr. Miguel N. Laurio,
Senior High School Coordinator. Let’s welcome sir mike with a

Thank you Ma’am Hermilina Gaintano Balina for that meaningful and
insightful speech and for that, may I request you to be on the center
stage to receive the Token and the Certificate of Appreciation to be
handed out by Mrs. Petronila B. Lacurom, Principal II.

Every battle won deserves recognition. Now, we move to the Awarding
of Medals and Certificates to the Honor Students and Special
Recognition and Awards to our graduates. May I call on again on stage
our honored guest Ma’am Hermilina Gaintano Balina, our Division
Representative Dr. Eleanor M. Dagala, our PTA President Mrs. Darlene
A. Asenjo, Barangay Captain Hon. Pael Huelar and Ma’am Petronila B.

Every success is built on the support and kindness of others. Let us

This Commencement Exercises has truly been noteworthy for everyone
here. Graduation is indeed a time for completion, of finishing, of an
ending. However, it is also a time of celebration of achievement and
most importantly a beginning for the new graduates. SHS graduates,
embrace your journeys with boldness, optimism, and a relentless spirit.
Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes the 49th Commencement
