Invitation to The Lyceum Open House for Prospective Students - Class of 2027
Dear Students and Parents,
We extend a warm invitation to you for The Lyceum Open House on Saturday, the 9th
of November 2024 from 9:30 am to 12.30 pm.
As you consider your options for pursuing A levels, we recognise the significance of this
decision. The next two years are a period of self-reflection and realisation, where your choices
can profoundly shape your future journey. At The Lyceum, we offer more than just an
education; we provide an environment aligned with your aspirations and goals. Our institution
is not merely a physical space but a thriving ecosystem pulsating with the ambitions, hopes,
dreams, and realities of our students intertwined with the Lyceum’s philosophy and ethos. We

Our name draws inspiration from The Lukeion, where Aristotle guided his students to think,
imagine, reflect, and deflect. These principles echo in our corridors, classrooms, and hearts – a
testament to our commitment to nurturing not just scholars but thinkers.
Our alumni, spanning from recent graduates to those who left thirty five years ago, speak of
transformative experiences and enduring connections formed here. These narratives affirm the
immeasurable value of a Lyceum education. While we may not be the right fit for everyone, we
are the perfect haven for those seeking different perspectives and a deeper understanding of
life.
At The Lyceum, you will be challenged to excel in not only academics but a diverse range of
activities through almost 20 - 25 societies including sports, the arts, creativity, and community
life. Our broad, inclusive approach aims to prepare students to make significant contributions
