Greetings!
We are currently third-year Bachelor of Arts in Political Science students at
the University of Antique-Main Campus. We are presently writing a term
paper as part of our course requirement for POLSCE 6 (Philippine Local
Government and Administration). Our working title is “Achieving Excellence
in Barangay Governance: Lesson from the field”.
The purpose of the study is to examine successful barangay governance
practices and identify key lessons learned and strategies for achieving
excellence in Barangay Lacayon, Bugasong, Antique.
In connection with this, we would like to request your permission to conduct
the study in your barangay. We are hoping to interview Barangay Officials
who can provide us with the necessary information/data needed for our
study. Rest assured that the data gathered will be strictly for research
purposes only and will be kept with utmost confidentiality. The interviews will
typically last from 30 to 60 minutes. We intend to conduct our interviews in
the month of June 2024.
