Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Associate Position as per the details given
below, (for NHAI Consultancy Project), under the Principal Investigator Dr. K. Muthukkumaran, Professor
& Head, Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

1. Title of the Project Periodical Inspection along with conduction of NDT tests in existing
Two-lane ROB at Km 129+155 RHS and at Km 135+705 LHS
Thanjavur Trichy section

2. Funding Agency for the Project M/s. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Thanjavur

4. Qualifications Essential: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering & M.Tech / M.E. in
Geotechnical Engineering / Structural Engineering or any other
relevant specialization from an AICTE/MHRD recognized Institute
/ University with FIRST CLASS.

5. Emoluments Rs. 30,000/- per month for 6 Months

6. Duration Six (6) Months

7. Job Description Project Associate – One


 Conduct GPR survey and other NDT test 
 Analysis of field and lab test results 
 Report Preparation.
General Instructions:
A. Before appearing for the interview, the candidates shall ensure that they are eligible for the
position they intend to apply.
B. Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the
following documents to the Office of the Project Investigator through Registered/ Post.
C. Application should be furnished only in the prescribed format.
D. Experience includes research, industrial field and others.
E. Attested copies of degree/ certificate and experience certificate
F. Candidates shall bring along with them the original certificates at the time of interview for
verification.
G. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview. The decision of the
selection committee is final and binding.
H. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail/Mobile and no separate call letter
will be issued for the same.

I. The last date and time of submission of duly filled in application is 30 O c t o b e r 2024 at
05.00 p.m.
J. Eligible and interested candidates may send their applications on prescribed format along
