Were you able to analyze the pie chart properly? If yes,
that is excellent because it means you are knowledgeable
in visual analysis. If not, do not worry because this lesson
will show you how to present and interpret data using
charts in a spreadsheet.
What is Workbook?
A workbook is a file that contains one or more
worksheets to help you organize data. You can create a
new workbook from a blank workbook or a template.
Workbooks that
contain a lot of data are
sometimes difficult to
analyze and interpret.
What is Chart?
A chart is a sheet giving information in the form of a
table or of lists or by means of diagrams or graphs.
Charts allow you to
illustrate your workbook data
graphically, which makes it
easy to visualize comparisons
and interpret results.
Microsoft Excel has different types of charts that
allow you to choose what is best for your data.
The most frequently used types of charts are as
follows:
