½” ¾  #2: Pressure gauge 400
” bar (5800 PSI)
1”1/2  #3: 2 ways valve
½”  #4: Optional: oil flow
meter
Procedure
- Fill up the Hydrive and circulates the oil in the circuit.
- Set the valve #3 to get 50 bar (725 PSI) at the gauge #2 and wait until the oil is 60°C (140°F).
- Close the valve #3.
- Set the Hydrive relief valve to the pressure requested, standard = 186/195 bar (2700/2830 PSI) which corresponds to an
opening value of 170 bar (2465 PSI).
- Set the Hydrive fan speed at the working pressure.
- Open and closed the valve #3 to check the pressure opening value of the relief valve . Standard is 170 bar (2465 PSI).
That operation is easier with the flow meter.
- Adjust the pressure to 80 bar (1160 PSI) with the valve #3 and operate the Hydrive during 30 min,
check there is no leak and that the oil temperature doesn’t exceed 75°C (167°F).

Once the Hydrive is fitted on the truck, adjust if requested the relief valve setting depending of the pressure limitation
of the installation and check the fan speed at the working pressure.
