Product Specification

Keltan® 8550

Product Description Amorphous ethylene-propylene rubber with semi high ENB (ethylidene-
norbornene) content and a very high Mooney viscosity. DSMs properietary
Controlled Long Chain Brancing technology ensures ultra fast curing and
efficient mixing. The high level of long chain branching facilitates the
extrusion of the most intricately designed profiles.
This grade is broadly applicable e.g. solid profiles, hoses and water seals.

Keltan® 8550

Packaging 25 kg bales in transparent LDPE film (strippable, DSC melting temperature <
110 °C); pallets of 36 bales in corrugated cardboard box (900 kg)
Shelf life 36 months from date of production at temperatures not exceeding 30°C
in dry conditions; exposure to light has to be avoided
