ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM)-
SCHOOL INITIATIVE INTERVENTION PROGRAM
School Year 2024-2025
I. Project Submission Requirement

A. Project Title: Magulang Kaagapay Program

B. Short Description

San Pablo Elementary School is committed to ensure that every child is given equal
opportunities to quality and accessible education. These may include learners with learning
disabilities, those experiencing socio-economic challenges, health issues or those affected by
unforeseen circumstances such as natural calamities. However, aside from diverse learner’s
background and academic performance, there are various challenges that hinder the realization of
this goal. Among these are the increasing number of SARDOs, insufficient learning resources,
shortage of facilitators and lack of support from stakeholders.

Magulang Kaagapay Program is a project of the School Initiated Intervention (SII) for
identified Students who are experiencing health issues and unforeseen circumstances such as
natural calamities. Because of these, the number of school days are shortened. Hence, the school
finds a way to reduce students at risk of failing by exerting more effort to motivate these learners
to come and study in the school.
Through the periodic reports of class advisers, a close monitoring of pupils’ activities
at school and home was established. Both teachers and parents undertook a comprehensive
reporting and recording system.

C. Objectives
1.To give every pupil, regardless of circumstances or background, equal learning chances
2. To assist pupils in accomplishing their learning objectives and acquiring vital life skills
3. Present to the parents the academic status of their children
4. Collaborate with stakeholders
5. Interview neighbors and friends of SARDOs/SARF
6. Address learning needs or gaps to ensure learning continuity
7. Reduce drop-out rate

D. Target Learners:
TARGET LEARNERS:

1. Learners with Problematic Behavior: Learners who display disruptive behavior and
pose a potential threat to their peers, requiring individualized learning and behavior
management plans.
2. Struggling Learners: Those who have difficulty keeping up with academic standards
and need restructured instructional methods for improvement.
3. Learners in Vulnerable Situations: Learners from socio-economically disadvantaged
backgrounds or geographically isolated areas.
4. Learners at Risk of Dropping Out (LARDOs): Learners who face emotional or
academic challenges that might cause them to disengage from school.

Special Focus: Addressing Behavioral Issues

1. Intervention Plans: Each learner with behavioral concerns will have a
personalized intervention plan that includes regular counseling, close monitoring,
and collaboration with their family.
2. Home-based Learning: In cases where the child poses a significant risk to their
peers, they will continue learning from home using self-learning modules and will
be monitored through regular consultations.
3. Parent-Teacher Collaboration: Teachers will work closely with parents to ensure
consistent behavior management strategies are employed both at home and during
instructional sessions.
4. Positive Reinforcement: Teachers will be trained to apply positive behavior
support techniques to encourage good conduct and emotional growth.
