HELLO EVERYONE, Today I’ll be presenting the creative

writing in writing short stories. Using THE ADDIE MODEL.

THE ADDIE MODEL is a systematic instructional design


framework used to guide the process of creating
education and training programs.

ADDIE serves as a comprehensive roadmap for


instructional designers and training developers.

ADDIE Stands for Analysis, Design, Development,


Implementation, and Evaluation.
Each phase has a specific purpose guiding the creation,
delivery, and assessment of educational content to
ensure that learning goals are met effectively.

In Phase 1 we have
 Analysis- The analysis phase lays the foundation for
successful training by identifying the learners’ needs
and objectives, as well as the training’s context.

- OBJECTIVES - Identify the specific needs of students


in Writing a short story and improving writing simple
sentences.

- ACTIVITY - Do simple read aloud short stories to


model the elements of storytelling and to check
students'
- understanding and difficulties with reading short
stories.

Phase 2 we have
 DESIGN- This phase focuses on creating a blueprint
for the training, outlining the learning objectives,
content structure, and the instructional strategies
best suited for the target audience.

- OBJECTIVE- Develop simple, short story that


generate ideas for characters, settings, and plots.

- ACTIVITY - Create visual representations of the


story's plot

- MOV’s- Assessment creation, analytical writing

In phase 3
 DEVELOPMENT- This phase involves the creation of
the training materials, including multimedia content,
assessments, and learning activities.

- OBJECTIVE- Develop materials that are easy for


teachers to use and accessible for students.

- ACTIVITY- Prepare books (short stories), printed


handouts.
- Use audio/video recordings of short stories or poems,
if available, to help with reading.

Phase 4
 IMPLEMENTATION- This stage tests the practicality
and effectiveness of the training design and
development, highlighting the importance of a
smooth delivery mechanism and the readiness of
both instructors and learners.

- OBJECTIVE- Facilitate discussions that introduce the


concept of short stories. •

- ACTIVITY- Encourage students to write a short story based


on their own ideas or a writing prompt.

- TIME FRAME- Second to Third Quarter, SY 2024-2025

The last phase is


 EVALUATION-This phase involves gathering feedback,
analyzing learning outcomes, and determining the training’s
impact on performance.
- OBJECTIVE- Assess student participation during class
discussions and activities.

- Monitor student work on storyboards and writing drafts.

- ACTIVITY- Collect and assess students' final short stories.

- Use a rubric to evaluate the stories based on criteria such as


plot, character development, and writing mechanics.
