Honorable dignitaries, dear companions, and esteemed audience,

Today, it fills my heart with joy and gratitude to stand before you all. Together, we embark on a
journey of thought and reflection, and I am thrilled to share this moment with each one of you. Let
us open our minds, our hearts, and dive into the relevant topic "unity is strength". May Allah bless
us .. Ameen

Dears in Islam,

Let's Imagine a single honeybee, buzzing around, gathering nectar. Alone, it could make just a tiny
amount of honey, maybe just a drop. But now picture an entire hive of bees, each one bringing
nectar together—what happens? Suddenly, they create a whole jar of honey, something sweet and
lasting, all because they worked as one.

This is the magic of unity! Just like bees, we can accomplish incredible things when we stand
together. "Unity is Strength" is our secret superpower, and today, I want to share just how amazing it
can be in our lives, in history, and even in our faith.

Dears,

From an Islamic view point, unity is not just encouraged; it’s a command from Allah. Allah says in the
Quran:

{‫) َواْعَتِصُموا ِبَحْبِل الَّلِه َجِميًعا َواَل َتَفَّر ُقوا‬

"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."

This verse emphasizes that Muslims are meant to remain united, supporting each other in both faith
and action

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also reminded us of the importance of unity,
comparing the Muslim Ummah to a single body. He said, "The believers, in their mutual kindness,
compassion, and sympathy, are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body
responds with wakefulness and fever." This hadith beautifully captures the essence of unity in Islam,
where the pain of one should be felt by all, driving us to support each other, especially in times of
hardship.

History is filled with examples that illustrate the power of unity. Take the Battle of Badr, where the
Muslims, though small in number, stood united under the leadership of the Prophet (PBUH) and,
against all odds, emerged victorious. It was their unity, faith, and resolve that made them strong,
despite the challenges.

Similarly, in our modern world, unity has shown itself to be a force for positive change. The struggle
for independence, civil rights movements, and humanitarian efforts all succeeded because people
joined hands, setting aside differences to achieve common goals. These efforts remind us that when
united, people can bring about transformation that reshapes history.

Unity isn’t just for historical moments; it’s something we should practice in our daily lives. As
students, imagine what we could achieve if we supported each other academically and emotionally.
Imagine how our communities would prosper if every person worked together towards shared goals.
Unity fosters trust, love, and understanding, breaking down barriers and paving the way for peace
and harmony.

In contrast, disunity breeds weakness. It creates divides that can lead to misunderstandings,
conflicts, and setbacks. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Therefore, it’s our duty to seek
unity within our families, communities, and nations.

In conclusion, unity is our strength, a divine command, and a bond that enhances our faith and
purpose. Like bees creating honey together, we too can achieve great things by standing united.
Islam teaches us that unity is essential—within ourselves, our communities, and our history. Let’s
hold firmly to the rope of Allah, support one another, and embody the true essence of “Unity is
Strength.”
