History
Gross : Received multiple grey brown soft tissue bits altogether measuring 0.5 x 0.3 x 0.2 cm.
Examination A/E in 1 block.
Microscopic : Section show multiple fragments of tissue having dysplastic epithelium with infiltrating tumor arranged in
Examination nests. Cells are atypical having moderate eosinophilic cytoplasm and hyperchromatic nucleus. Adjacent
scanty stroma shows inflammatory cell infiltrates like lymphocytes and few neutrophils.
Impression : Histopathological features are suggestive of.. Squamous cell carcinoma (Moderately differentiated).
Remarks : Suggest clinical correlation.
Note : All biopsy specimen will be stored for 15 (Fifteen) days after reporting, blocks and slides for 10 (ten)
years only from the time of receipt at the laboratory.
No request will be entertained after the specified period.
