Greetings from the KAMLSCON 2024 Organizing Team!
It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to KAMLSCON 2024, the 32nd
Annual State Conference of the Karnataka Medicolegal Society, hosted by the
Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at KAHER’s, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical
College, Belagavi, Karnataka, on November 8th & 9th 2024.
This conference focuses on the theme: “Collaborative Aspects of Forensic
Medicine & Toxicology in Medical Practice.” It highlights the importance of the subject
in various aspects of medical practice and Education. With the advent of Clinical
Forensic Medicine and recent changes in the laws of the Country, our committee has
planned a series of engaging sessions led by speakers of National repute. These
sessions will offer Knowledge, insights, and advancements on this theme, aiming to
create a significant impact in the medical field.
We are confident that your participation and contributions will enrich the
discussions and help in shaping the future of the subject. It will be a great opportunity

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
• Registration is mandatory for Abstract submission.
• Presentation type: Oral paper and E-poster
• Article Types: Original Research Papers, Case Study, Case Series, Review
articles.
• Title: Should be in UPPER CASE, short and concise.
• Authors’ Names and Affiliation: Should follow immediately under the titles in a
single line, name of presenting author being underlined followed by institutional
affiliations (Name of the institute and Place) and email address of presenting
author.
• Structures abstract in IMRD (Original article : Introduction, Materials & Methods,
Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Keywords.
Case Report: Introduction, Case Details, Discussion, Conclusion, Keywords)
format with font size 12 with double line spacing, Times New Roman in MS word
file, should not exceeding 250 words (excluding title, author, and institutional
affiliations).
• Abstract should contain a maximum of 5 keywords.
• Submitted abstracts should not be published or presented previously.
• Scientific committee reserves the right to accept or reject the scientific papers for
oral or e-poster presentation.
• Technical Information for Oral and E-poster presentation: Only Power Point
presentations will be allowed. The time limit for oral presentation is 6 minutes
followed by 2 minutes of discussion. For e-poster presentation time limit is 4
minutes followed by 2 minutes of discussion.
• Only e- poster will be accepted. The poster should be designed in the MS Power
point in the landscape mode with size of 16:9.
• All the presenting authors will be informed via mail regarding acceptance of their
abstract.

• No abstracts will be accepted after the deadline.
