information 2.2 Installation Warning! • Avoid contact with the instrument while it is running. You could get hurt by getting trapped in the instrument. • Keep blood samples, reagents, and metals out of the instrument. They could cause a short-circuit. • Do not touch any electrical parts inside the cover. You could get an electric shock, especially if your
hands are wet. • Protect the power cable from damage: do not put anything heavy on it or pull it. This could cause a fire or shock from a short or a break in the wire.
• If the instrument smells or smokes, turn OFF the main switch and unplug the power cable. Then call Sysmex service representative. Using the instrument in this state could cause fire, shock, or injury. Caution! • Do not touch the sample rack when the instrument is working. You could spill the samples, especially if the rack is moving. • Do not lean
on the instrument. You could damage the instrument or make it fall over. Warning! • Sysmex technical service will unpack, set up, and test the instrument. • Connect the instrument only to a power outlet with the same rating as the rated plate. The instrument must be grounded. Otherwise, you could cause a fire or shock. • Turn OFF the power
before connecting any devices (host computer, printer, etc.). This will prevent shock.
If you connect a device after the instrument is on, the instrument may stop working.
