Note that 3 sayings are included.

Flowers: See pages 41 – 51 for instructions on creating the 3D

paper flowers. These can be made using any kind of paper
(regular paper works better than cardstock). You could even get
creative and use newspaper, pages from old books, notebook
paper, wrapping paper, etc.

A stapler, glue stick, and a hot glue gun are recommended for
assembling the flowers.

Petals are hot glued in a circular pattern, starting from the outside and
working your way in. Continue adding petals until you fill in the inside.

Petal Templates
Petal templates are included on the following pages. To save time, I
recommend printing these pages just once. Cut out the petal template
you want, and then you can cut a stack of several sheets of paper by
trimming around the petal template. See below to see how to form
each petal once cut.

Petals A, B
Spread glue along the edge (the shaded area on the template). Wrap
around your fingers as shown to create a round cone shape.

Petals C, D, E
Cut a slit along the dashed line shown on the template. Overlap the two
flaps and staple (or glue).
Petals F, G
Place each petal on a scrap piece of cardboard. Make sure the petal is
parallel with grooves of the cardboard. Use a dull point (like a
mechanical pencil without lead) to make an indented line down the
middle of the petal.

Petals H, I, J
Bend one side of the petal so that the bottom edge aligns with the
straight middle edge and staple (or glue). Bend the other side of the
petal so that the bottom edge aligns with the straight middle edge and
staple (or glue). Note, the sides are not pressed flat as you bend them.

Optional Flower Middles
You may choose to fill your flowers entirely with petals. Or, you can
create the center by using one of these methods below.
Tear up small pieces of paper and ball them up.
Hot glue to fill in the center.

Fold a sheet of paper in half longways. Snip it as shown on the folded edge. Then roll
and glue. Spread out the pieces once it is secure.

Fold a strip of paper so that the edges are uneven. Snip along the folded edge. Glue
in a circle. Fill the inside of the circle with small pieces of paper balled up and glued.

Cut out a circle. Then cut a spiral from the edge to the center. Then starting from the
inside of the spiral, wrap the strip to create a rosette.
Secure with glue as you wrap around.
