INTERNSHIP VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Intern(s)

OPEN TO: Undergraduate and graduate students in good academic


standing and college graduates with limited professional experience.

OPENING DATE: October 9, 2025

CLOSING DATE: October 23, 2025

LOCATION: Monrovia

WORK HOURS: Internships are part-time (not to exceed 32 hours per week)

DURATION: Nine (9) months only.

SALARY: Intern will receive a monthly stipend which will be determined


by the weekly time commitment.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:


Peace Corps Liberia internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students in Liberia who have
good academic standing and college graduates with limited professional experience who would like to
gain work experience in a field that is closely aligned with their studies and professional goals. The
internship would provide an opportunity to perform professional and technical duties to increase,
develop, and apply their knowledge in a professional work environment.

Summary
Under the supervision of the Executive Assistant/Communications Specialist, the intern would be
provided with an opportunity to perform administrative duties that will develop his/her knowledge in
a professional work environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The duties of the Intern include but are not limited to:
➢ Assist with filing, printing, photocopying, binding, scanning, and organization of documents.
➢ Record incoming letters and packages in a logbook.
➢ Supports the organization of meetings, events planning and logistics.
➢ Participates in team meetings and taking minutes when needed.
➢ Assist photo taking and recording videos of events and meetings.
➢ Greet and assist visitors to the office.
➢ Support scheduling and calendar management for team members.
➢ Assist data entry in excel spreadsheet.
➢ Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
➢ Perform basic research on requested topics.
➢ Assist staff travels by ensuring that all processes are follow and documentations submitted.
➢ Other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
