The result of a multiplication process is known as the PRODUCT.

The product function multiplies all the numbers in a column or row. If
you were to type the following formula =PRODUCT(A15:B15) in cell
C15 this would multipy the numbers in the two cells mentioned.
For instance, let's put the number 3 in cell N10 and remove column B altoge
the formula replacing B1 by N10 and then drag the formula. What happene
Now make cell N10 an absolute cell reference. Now what happens?
The F4 key toggles through four variants of relative, absolute and mixed cell references.
When the cell reference is first struck with the F4 key toggle it changes from a relative cell reference to an absolute cell ref

The next two toggles leads to a mixed cell reference, the first is where the row remains locked but the column is relative - B

The second is where the column remains locked but the row is relative - $B1. If you drag the referenced formula up or dow
adjacent cells relative to the movement of the cell containing the function, however, if the function is dragged left or right the
The fourth toggle returns the cell reference to a relative cell reference B1.
Test it:
1. Go to the highlighted cell J40 and type the function =C40, containing the cell reference C40. Drag the function left or righ
2. Now, return to J40 and select the cell reference C40 and strike the F4 key. Now drag the function in each direction. Wh
