A. Make sure electrical power is available (Refer to Task 24-00-00-861-812 for more data) .

B. Make sure the circuit breaker(s) are closed:
FLOW SENSOR COOLING P1 CB1824A
INSTRUMENT COOLING P1 CB1804A
AVIONICS RACK COOLING P2 CB0180A

C. (Refer to Fig. 21-00-00-990-032-A01)
Do a check of the instrument cooling fans for correct operation
(1.) On the Maintenance and Test Panel (MTP), make sure the INSTR FAN magnetic indicator shows black (no fault).
(2.) On the MTP, make sure the AVIONICS FAN magnetic indicator shows black (no fault).

D. Remove the electrical power (Refer to Task 24-00-00-861-812 for more data) .

E. Install the placard on the avionics switching panel in the flight compartment
