Dictatorship
Kim Jong Un
Kim Jong Un is the Supreme Leader of North Korea and has held this position since
December 2011. He was born on January 8, 1984, in Wonsan, North Korea. He is
40 years old. He has been the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea
since 2012. He is the son of Kim Jong-Il and Ko Yong Hui. He has been married to Ri
Sol-Ju since 2009, and they have three children. Kim Jong Un is known for his
authoritarian rule and his country's nuclear program. His leadership follows the
same cult of personality as his father and grandfather, where he is portrayed as an
almost divine figure. His rule is characterized by strict social control and
surveillance, with the Workers' Party of Korea being the ruling party. The official
ideology of the country is Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, which emphasizes the
leadership of the Kim family. He is also a member of the Presidium of the WPK Politburo,
the highest decision-making body in the country. In July 2012, Kim was promoted to the
highest rank of Marshal in the Korean People's Army, consolidating his position as
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. North Korean state media often refer to him
as "Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un" or "Marshal Kim Jong Un". He has promoted the
policy of byungjin, like Kim Il Sung's policy from the 1960s, referring to the
simultaneous development of both the economy and the country's nuclear weapons
program. He has also revived the structures of the WPK, expanding the party's power at
the expense of the military leadership. In 2014, a United Nations Human Rights Council
report suggested that Kim could be put on trial for crimes against humanity. According
to reports, he has ordered the purge and execution of several North Korean officials
including his uncle, Jang Song-thaek, in 2013. He is also widely believed to have ordered
the assassination of his half-brother, Kim Jong Nam, in Malaysia in 2017. He has
presided over an expansion of the consumer economy, construction projects and tourist
attractions in North Korea. Kim Jong Un is believed to have three children: an eldest son
born in 2010, his is not known, a middle daughter named Ju Ae born in 2013, and a
youngest child born in 2017. The youngest child's gender is not publicly known. The
eldest son is believed to have lived in Switzerland, along with his mother and siblings. It
is important to know that there’s no confirmation of the names or even the existence of
Kim Jon Un kids.
Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler[a] (20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born German politician who was the
dictator of Nazi Germany from 1933 until his suicide in 1945. He rose to power as the leader of the
Nazi Party,[c] becoming the chancellor in 1933 and then taking the title of Führer und Reichskanzler
in 1934.[d] His invasion of Poland on 1 September 1939 marked the start of the Second World War.
He was closely involved in military operations throughout the war and was central to the perpetration
of the Holocaust: the genocide of about six million Jews and millions of other victims.
Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn in Austria-Hungary and was raised near Linz. He lived in Vienna
in the first decade of the 1900s before moving to Germany in 1913. He was decorated during his
service in the German Army in World War I, receiving the Iron Cross. In 1919, he joined the German
Workers' Party (DAP), the precursor of the Nazi Party, and in 1921 was appointed leader of the Nazi
Party. In 1923, he attempted to seize governmental power in a failed coup in
Munich and was sentenced to five years in prison, serving just over a year of his sentence. While
there, he dictated the first volume of his autobiography and political manifesto Mein Kampf (My
Struggle). After his early release in 1924, Hitler gained popular support by attacking the Treaty of
Versailles and promoting pan-Germanism, antisemitism, and anti-communism with charismatic
oratory and Nazi propaganda. He frequently denounced communism as being part of an
international Jewish conspiracy.
Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin[c][d] (born 7 October 1952) is a Russian
politician and former intelligence officer who is the president of Russia,
serving since 2012 and previously from 2000 to 2008. Putin also served as
prime minister from 1999 to 2000[e] and again from 2008 to 2012: [f][7] He is the
longest-serving Russian or Soviet leader since Joseph Stalin.
Putin worked as a KGB foreign intelligence officer for 16 years, rising to the
rank of lieutenant colonel before resigning in 1991 to begin a political career
in Saint Petersburg. In 1996, he moved to Moscow to join the administration
of President Boris Yeltsin. He briefly served as the director of the Federal
Security Service (FSB) and then as secretary of the Security Council of Russia
before being appointed prime minister in August 1999. Following Yeltsin's
resignation, Putin became acting president and, in less than four months,
was elected to his first term as president. He was re-elected in 2004. Due to
constitutional limitations of two consecutive presidential terms, Putin served
as prime minister again from 2008 to 2012 under Dmitry Medvedev. He
returned to the presidency in 2012, following an election marked by
allegations of fraud and protests, and was reelected in 2018.
