Belief Systems and Religion
Each belief system has their own definition and understanding of SACRED.
Religion is only a part of a component of the belief system at large. Belief systems refer to
these beliefs, belief systems are much more important in sociology.
What we understand from the Belief System is any kind of routine or rituals or right or
beliefs which regulate organise the lives of the human beings or any kind of belief system
according to its followers is a kind of guidance or which regulates the lifes organize
individuals, that is why belief systems can be various and its effect on the life’s organizing on
the life of the individuals is huge. For example, Religions may be also providing this kind of a
guidance.
Science is also a Belief System. Scientific thought is the belief system which emerges after
the enlightenment period in the modern society. Whatever we do, it has to be scientific
according to rules and regulations and rituals of science. SCIENTIFICITY.
What was the rituals of science?
The rituals of Science are Objectivity, impartiality, experimentality, validity, objectivity. All
these issues are major principles of scientific thinking. In other words, Science, or our belief
in science is a belief system, which regulates our activities, our thought, our work, our studies,
our everyday life.

sacred.
The science’s sacred should be based on experiments, validity, objective, impartial whatever.
Therefore, all the sacred principles related to scientific thoughts.
Each belief system has their own definition and understanding of SACRED and the concept
of sacred is set of meaning attributed to the different objects to different principles and
thoughts to different ideas, or even activities. For example, if you are considering a religion,
there are certain rituals of a certain religion like prayers, like certain objects, for example;
holly books. Therefore, the concept of sacred may be attributed as a set of meanings attributed
to the different objects, different places or activities. And rituals and ideas as well.
Belief in god is an idea. It is not necessarily shared all belief systems. But, belief in god is an
sacred idea in different religious beliefs.
In that sense, any kind of belief system has this kind of understanding of the sacred.

What is our sacred in science? It is scientific thought. Scientific thought should be based on
experiment, impartial, validity etc.
There are sacred places for example mosque, Synagogue, church etc. Concept of sacred may
be attribute is a set of meanings attributed to different objects, different places, different
activities and rituals.
Secular has to be independent a set of independent meaning system.
When we come specifically to religion, there are also many religions, beliefs in the world.
Religion is a major component in the whole of the belief system.
