Objectives:
 To use function generator to generate different waves with different parameters.
 To use oscilloscope to measure the frequency, voltages (Vp,Vp-p) and period.

Equipment Required:
 Oscilloscope
 Digital Multimenter
 Function Generator
 Power Supply
Procedure:
The experiment was performed using Proteus software. We used an oscilloscope and a
signal generator for performing our tasks. One of the terminals of signal generator was
connected with oscilloscope and frequency was set at 1kHz. We studied two waveforms
at different peak to peak voltages; a sinusoidal wave at 1V and a triangular wave at 5V.
By observing the readings on the oscilloscope we calculated our output voltages, time
periods and frequencies for both waveforms.

Observations:

Calculations
Sinusoidal waveform

No. of blocks on horizontal axis for one wave = 5

Time on oscilloscope = 0.2ms
Time Period = 0.2ms * 5
T = 1ms
Frequency = 1/T
f = 1/1ms
f = 1 kHz

Triangular waveform

No. of blocks on horizontal axis for one wave = 5

Time on oscilloscope = 0.2ms
Time Period = 0.2ms * 5
T = 1ms
Frequency = 1/T
f = 1/1ms
f = 1 kHz

Conclusion
In this experiment results different waveforms were studied and using the observations and
readings we calculated our desired outputs i.e. Output voltage, Time Period and Frequency
