a) Food: The amount of rich, fertile land needed to grow crops, such as
wheat, rice, etc., is becoming less as we are using up more and more land
for other purposes. Soil nutrients are also getting depleted and lots of
chemicals are spoiling the soil due to use of chemical fertilisers.
b) Water: We use fresh water from rivers and ponds for drinking and cleaning
but dump garbage into them. The rivers and ponds are getting polluted.
This way after several years, we will have no clean water for our use.

These styles define the basic structure for the pages in a document. They

Paragraph Styles
Paragraph styles control text alignment, indentation, spacing, borders, and
background colour of the paragraphs in a document. A paragraph is separated
from rest of the content of the document by pressing enter key before and
after it is finished.

Q. 12 Merging means to combine content from multiple documents into one. It is 2
helpful when you want to create a single final version from multiple different
versions.
Comparing documents means to identify differences between two
documents.

Q. 13 a) What-if scenario 2
It is a set of values that can be used within the calculations in the
spreadsheet. A name is given to the scenario and several scenarios can be
created on the same sheet.
b) Goal Seek
It helps in finding the input based on the specified output.
Q. 14 A form is primarily used for data input and data interaction. It acts as an 2
interface that allows users to enter, edit, or view data in a user-friendly
manner.
A report is used to summarise and display data in a structured format for
analysis or presentation. Reports are generally read-only and designed for
output rather than input.
Q. 15 When the Track Changes feature is enabled, the spreadsheet keeps a log of 2
edits, including who made the changes, what was changed, and when it was
changed.
Accept or Reject Changes will allow the owner or reviewer of the document
to review each change and decide to either accept (apply) or reject (discard)
the change.
Q. 16 The general evacuation procedures which everybody should follow in case of 2
an emergency are as follows:
• Stay composed and attentive: Keep calm and listen closely to any
instructions from emergency personnel or officials.

• Use the closest exit: Move promptly and safely to the nearest exit. Avoid
using elevators, as they may be unsafe or non-operational in emergencies.
• Help others: Assist those who may need help, such as people with
disabilities, the elderly, or young children, and ensure they are safely
evacuated.
• Be cautious of hazards: Stay alert for dangers like smoke, debris, or fire. If
there is smoke, stay low to the ground to minimise inhalation.

Q. 17 a) Macros are automated sequences of actions or commands that can be 4
recorded and executed in applications like LibreOffice Calc.
b) Go to Tools → Macros
c) The default name for a recorded macro in LibreOffice is "Main".
d) One major advantage of using macros is increased efficiency. Macros
automate repetitive tasks, saving time and reducing the possibility of
human error in processes that are performed frequently.
Q. 18 a) Another name of a table in RDBMS is Tuple. 4
b) A relationship refers to the logical connection between two or more tables
that share common data.
c) Referential Integrity is used to maintain accuracy and consistency of data
in a relationship. In LibreOffice Base, data can be linked between two or
more tables with the help of primary key and foreign key constraints.
d) One-to-Many Relationship.
Q. 19 Text wrapping is a feature used to control how text flows around an image in 4
a document. When you insert an image into a document, text wrapping
determines the way the text adjusts and positions itself relative to the image.
It plays a crucial role in document formatting, providing both aesthetic appeal
and readability.
Text wrapping feature are available under the Format menu. LibreOffice
Writer has the following types of images wrapping within texts:
• None: It enables to place the text above and below the Image.
• Parallel: This option is used if we want the image to be surrounded by text
based on the image size.
• Optimal (default): By default, optimal page wrap is applied to the inserted
images. Texts are aligned at either the left or right of the inserted image
based on the image size and available position on both sides of the image.
• Before: This option is used if the image is on the right side and the text is
on the left side.
• After: This option is used if the image is on the left side and the text is on
the right side.
• Through: This option places the image on top of the text.
Q. 20 Some reasons that explain why Health, Safety and Security Programs or 4

• It clearly indicates the company’s commitment for their employee’s health
and safety;
• It shows the performance of the business and the safety performance are
compatible with each other;

Some basic fire safety rules which every organisation must follow to avoid the
devastating incident:
• The first few minutes of a fire are crucial so automatic fire alarm systems
such as smoke and heat detectors should be part of the fire Safety plan.
This will save the place from turning into a tragic spot.
• Sufficient Fire escape route of the fire hit area should be given utmost
importance. The employees should be trained and instructed to guide the
others on how to escape through the fire escape route.
• The organisation must ensure that there are enough exits through the
building and are in the right places with proper exit plans installed on its
way with proper directions and sign symbols.
a) The workplace should have one or more people in charge of monitoring
fire safety and assisting with evacuations in the event of a fire. They
may be called Fire Safety Guards.
