3. Muslin is supposed to be washed with great care. It should not be rubbed. Put the boiled soap in
the hot water and make it all frothy and lathery. Then, shake the muslin and squeeze it gently so
that all the dirt comes out. It must not be twisted. It should just be rinsed.
The children were pretending to be out-of-the-door washer women when they were washing
clothes.
