benefits that trees bring to the environment have been well documented and it is our duty to make
sure as well as ourselves, future generations are also able to enjoy these benefits.

provide contrast of size, colours, and texture to the ruban landscape and effectively reflect

the changing season, bringing nature into towns. Increasing values is the contribution that
trees make to improving the quality of the air that we breathe as well as removing carbon
dioxide and releasing oxygen.

3- Trees also improve air quality by filtering out harmful pollutants. They can help to reduce
noise from traffic and industries. They can also have a limiting effect on the extremes of

weather by providing shelter from winds and shade from the sun. Woodlands and parklands
which contain trees provide essential space for quiet informal recreations activities such as

walking, jogging, and cycling. Woodlands are also important for landscape and wield life
